Although this place has a certain charm, it's a bit overrated. There's no menu and people seem to get charged randomly for dinner. The fries were soaked in fat and the quality of the food is average.

We booked Casa Anita based on TripAdvisor recommendations however it fell below expectations. Jaunito claimed that there was no Perfita Rosé, his brothers wine from up the hill and a great rosé, because they had had a heavy load at lunch time. Some one just didn't fill up the fridge to get some cool for dinner, not a great excuse!... More

After a day at Salvatore Dali's house we walked along the Cadaqués harbour wall into town and settled in for dinner. We asked the owner to provide three courses at his discretion and a moderately priced wine to match at his recommendation. We ate well on sardines, prawns and meats. The wine excellent. Across from us a table of Germans... More

The owner, chef, and server is an experience all on it's own. Juanito, forgive me if I've misspelled your name, is a born "salesman". He expertly and unapologetically manipulated me into ordering what he "knew" I wanted to eat. We enjoyed it so much, that we ate 2 of our 5 dinners there. His brother owns a local wine farm,... The previous TA reviews were spot on...unfortunately, we thought we could control what we ate. The owner basically serves you what he believes you should have. To start he was determined that we should have an anchovies appetizer...."if you don't like, I will take it back". We did not like it...although it was well prepared...but no way to really say... I've been going to Casa Anita since I was 5 years old (30+ years ago during the mid 1980s). The restaurant is now run by Juanito (Guillermo and Anita's son) and his wife Maria. Juanito is quite a character (like his mother). The place is small, the decor is heavy on photos of all the celebrities that have eaten there... More

But it's great Catalan home cooking . I've been eating here for 30 years and he still hasn't got a menu. Fresh fish every day and good roast chicken. You sit at communical tables and Juanito sits down with you and tells you what he recommends. Go with it. Wine is from his cousin's vineyard. Great atmosphere inside the barrel-vaulted.... More

Unique small restaurant where the owner greets everybody like he is inviting you in to his home. Fish as fresh as you can get and homemade desserts. You can sit at a shared table and get to know the locals or fellow travelers over bottles of shared wine. The owner has plenty of stories to tell about the pictures on... More
