It's not El Bulli

Unique small restaurant where the owner greets everybody like he is inviting you in to his home. Fish as fresh as you can get and homemade desserts. You can sit at a shared table and get to know the locals or fellow travelers over bottles of shared wine. The owner has plenty of stories to tell about the pictures on... More

There were only tables for 8, which is nice and give you an opportunity to get known with other people. There were no menu, but the owner presentet the menu of the day. He was very charming, and could "sold iceon the northpole"

It's not all about the owner/proprietor here, but he certainly imposes his personality on the restaurant to insure every guest is made to feel welcome. Even when making the reservation in person, he takes no name - he will remember your face when you arrive. Ordering one's meal is a little fraught as no menu is offered so you have... More

Ate lunch here today, great experience. All praise below true. Lots of fun with the Owner, looked after us very well! Fresh fish, no menu, good local wines and not too expensive. Really recommend it.

We spent some time in Cadaques, north of Barcelona. Its a small, very nice village with a genuin atmosphere. Casa Anita was recommended and we ended up sharing a table with some nice Catalans. Had a fantastic tuna carpaccio and a turbut for dinner, together with some local wine. Excellent food and outstanding service.

Casa Anita is a very cute dining room where you will probably sit next to some enjoyable fellow travelers at a larger table. The owner offered us some complimentary wine with our meal. NO MENU here, just a discussion with the owner and then he told us what we going to have. Fresh fresh seafood. We had delicious anchovies, gambas... More

Imagine Tony Soprano running a small restaurant with no fixed menu serving up fine seafood and where sharing a table is mandatory and you get the idea. Dining here is an experience at its best if you just roll with it. The food was simple but excellent (lentil soup, (grilled) gambas a la plancha - the best I've had in... More

It's all about the people. Salad was beautiful. The fish is very fresh and simply prepared. The sirloin was very thinly cut and topped with a spicy slice of cheese. The food is good, but the communal dining is the draw. Met a widower and his two small children that were in Cadaques because the father and his wife visited... More
