Located in the Paseo, as many other restaurants, has a good location with outdoor seating. A season local recommended it and the owner, Rafa, warned us: "we serve fish here" (meaning: don't ask for a hamburger here). Well, Rafa is honest and very good when recommending. The fish offer was excellent. The tuna he had fished himself (we saw pictures+video)... More

We have been coming here for 30 years. In Cadaques, they have been pirates and smugglers for 300 years and waiters for 30, but Rafa can cook fish and shellfish. Great tallerines in garlic, baby octopus a la plancha, and Rafa is responsible for bringing viniculture back to the extent region after the phyloxera epidemic of the 19th century. Follow... More

We went to Can Rafa after being recommended by someone. The owners of the restaurant also own Casa Anita, la Enoteca and the local winery Martin Faixó (Perafita)... but they are there, attending all clients. Some people complain because they are a little bit rough sometimes... but they are villagers, true "cadaquesencs" and it is worth seeing them working. We... More

I'm from Catalunya and I can assure you that is the best Catalan Fresh Fish in Catalunya. Don't miss it!!! Staff really helpful. The town is one if the most emblematic towns in Catalunya, just let your self get lost.

a sarsuela to die for (well, take a 3 hour walk for, over the mountain from Port de la Selva), great wines from their own vineyard... the best in town! But what's the recipe for the apple mousse?

Always as busy and rushed, wish they would pace our dishes out more to enjoy but the food is fantastic and we go back every year. Start with the Tallarinas!!!

Rafa keeps the menu simple but offers the highest quality fish and seafood in Cadaques. It is not inexpensive, but regulars - and most diners are regulars whom Rafa and Carmen greet as old friends - are happy to return again and again. Can Rafa has been our No 1 restaurant in Cadaques for nearly 30 years; there's nothing to... More

My friends and I had a fantastic dinner here. The terrace is right in the center of the beach promenade and, although you can't clearly see the sea, the people walking by is a quite interesting entertainment. The wine served is produced by the owner, and really no need to order any other wine. Both the red and the white... More

Had a lunch facing the town square. The location is good. However, the staff tried to push food on us and the value just was not there.

Sometimes you are just lucky in the choices you make. Having a handful of recommendations from our hotel, we joined some new-found friends from our hotel in deciding on dinner at Can Rafa. The fun began immediately. Q- "Would you like some wine?" A-"Yes. A Tinto de Verano would be nice." Response - "I only serve my wine." We laughed... More
