Unexpectedly good

We were interested to try this new restaurant but as soon as we entered our expectations for a good meal appeared unlikely. However the good news is that the food was lovely although the experience was not entirely enjoyable.

After eating here twice last year and having two enjoyable meals was eager to go on my return this year, however I was very disappointed food was certainly not as flavoursome as previous year, we had a beef bourguignon as one dish, the meat although plentiful was dry and chewy. On a positive note the frozen cheesecake was still yummy.

This place has to serve some of the most amazing food I've ever eaten. The actual venue is pretty basic but it doesn't matter. The food more than makes up for it. I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone who loves good food.

This is a British style restaurant with a simple menu and a good selection of "comfort" food. Nothing fancy but good wholesome cooking. We had the ribs, beef borguinone and jambalaya and they all went down well. Under EUR50 for the lot including two beers. Good value.

We decided to go to Infusions after spotting a menu in a bar we were in,and we were very glad we did! The food was real quality! I had the chorizo and eggs to start, cajun chicken for a main, and even though full I just had to try a slice of cheese cake. Divine is the only word for it!! They... More

We thought this was a Chinese or Fusion restaurant from its name but it's British/American with a very friendly Irish waitress, Niamh, a joy. We both had chicken, delicious, tender and moist. Not cheesecake fans but we were too stuffed anyway. Great house wine.

Infusion is a gem of a place! Not far from both the harbour and the town centre, in unassuming premises, it serves top class food. Even though we were in a large group of about 25 people, the service was really good and everyone's meals were served promptly. The menu is imaginative and interesting, with something for everyone. Every dish... More

Visited here three times and wasn't disappointed. Staff great, food excellent. Jambali was perfect. Small premises, but well worth trying. Varied menu catering for most tastes.
