I think we got the better side of the waiter. I can imagine if we weren't forthcoming and chatty (in Spanish) with him we may never have got seated and served, but he was actually quite charming by the end. The caldoso is a delicious rice stew, like a paella with loads of sauce. Bogavante is "european" lobster, not quite... More

I think we were sat near the previous reviewer-very similar experience. Earlier in the day we reserved a table with Carlos. We arrived at 8.20 p.m..After this time the tables are taken pretty quickly. We ordered bouillabaisse and soup of the day.I have eaten many a bouillabaisse in France but this was a watery version containing octopus which had been... More

We were attracted to this restaurant for it's great location, however it turned out to be a bitterly disappointing experience. We had to wait about 25 minutes for our order to be taken. The restaurant was about half full at the time, and we counted at least 6 waiting staff. When our food finally arrived out, both dishes were cold.... More

Visiting El Anzuelo was a last-night-of-the-holiday treat, overlooking Corralejo's lovely harbour. The fish and prawn brochette was delightful, as was the wine list and the attentive but not intrusive service. A lovely place to eat, and I look forward to trying the sister restaurant, La Marisma, in El Cotillo, when next I visit Fuerteventura.

We had seen this restaurant and noted it's fresh fish - so we made a visit - not busy, but no sign of staff man finally came and sat us in the corner. I think he then forgot us - no menus no drinks for ages.... We asked what fish they had to be told non today!! Oh dear.... Food... More

We had such a good experience first time we went, we returned for the final night of our holiday. First time around we both had King Prawns and grilled sole fish, which was delicious with the sole melting in your mouth. Second time around we shared a mixed grill paella which was equally as good, and with drinks came to... More

Excellent restaurant, beautiful setting, quality food! El anzuelo has a varied menu not the run of the mill garlic prawns. Not the cheapest but the view is fabulous and the wine menu very good

Starter was deep fried baby squid in batter, gritty and tasteless. Mains i had dry fish and prawns which were not deveined and very gritty. Some coriander sauce which nearly choked me with ammonia fumes. Shocking overall.

You can watch the movement of boats and people on the sea as you eat some of the best food on the island. We have visited this restaurant several times over many years and it our favourite restaurant in Corrolejo. This year I had the best fish stew I have ever had. It's taste was balanced not acidic (as some... More

Great for fish. Poor for everything else....except the price. My better half had an amazing platter of seafood that was expertly prepared. I (mistakenly) had their premium steak....no taste unfortunately.
