Really enjoyed the large tapas style dishes each one made lovingly Only negative was the Sangria was a bit watery not much oomph

Lovely small restaurant with an excellent chef who really cares about Tapas. Off the beaten track but well worth locating. Very reasonable cost and a much higher standard than other tapas restaurants in the resort.

Easily the best food we had in Corralejo, delicious and extremely well prepared. It is not really tapas (ie snacks with a drink), more small dishes so you order several different things to make a varied multi-course meal. There were some very interesting combinations of flavours, all the ingredients used were clearly of very high quality and they are used... More

The tapas here are larger than the usual cooked to order, very delicious and tasty, the house wine was the best we had during our 8 night stay.

We visited 4 times during our 3 month winter stay. Between Nov 2013 and Feb2014 the menu did NOT change. There are about 20 dishes to choose from. Size of each dish is best described as 'large tapas portion'. We went as a couple, then group of 3 , then group of 4 . It's best if you are all... More

We tried to get in one night but it was very busy so returned another night. It was quite quiet on the night we went. The lady who served us was very nice however I think they could save time by writing one of their blackboards in English thus saving the lady having to explain all the dishes to you.... More

Came across this cosy restaurant by chance. Only seats about 20 people and menu changes daily, written on boards on the wall. Attentive service from multi lingual front if house who patiently explains the Spanish menu; the whole place seems to be run by just 2 people. Food is tapas style but with a little more finesse than your standard... More

Took the last table without a reservation. The host was very welcoming and proceeded to translate the menus on the walls. There were a lot of dishes so it was difficult to remember them all by the end. However, we chose well and had a very pleasant meal. I had filleted fish and my friend had stuffed peppers. Both dishes... More

I go back there every time I visit, usually at least twice in the week, it's the best. Corralejo doesn't cater much for anyone with refined tastes in food, pile it high cheap and quick is the way in most of the restaurants. Caracoles is a brilliant exception to this rule, their desserts aren't special but the Swiss-Spanish fusion tapas... More

This was our second visit to Caracoles, the first time was ten years ago,& it is still fantastic. We found it rather expensive. This restaurant is definatley a place to dine for a special occasion. We went with friends & we ordered 8 dishes each one was cooked to perfection. Sylvia was the perfect host & advised us on all... More
