Ate here a couple of times based on the recommendation of a fellow guest and have to admit that the food was really good and a fair price. due to where it is - not in the main town centre, probably wouldn't have tried it - glad we did

Our first experience of Avenida Restaurant was about five years ago - it was excellent. We ate there again at the beginning of September. Would advise eating early as the restaurant gets very busy, although the service was still very good. Three out of our four meals were excellent and the cost was reasonable. Would certainly recommend it.

Busy little place to say the least. Popular with the locals. Had to wait outside for awhile for a table. Please book in advance. Turn over was tremendous. Good selection of food. Fresh fish i.e. Sea Bass, Bream plus others. Best ailoli in town. Closed Mondays.

As others have said this place can be busy if you leave it too late. But any wait is rewarded with fantastic food and exceptional value. For a family of 5 with drinks and 2 desserts €59. This included a fresh sirloin steak which was huge. This was our cheapest, and best meal of the holiday by far. I tried... More

We stayed at the Hesperia Bristol hotel, a stones throw away from this great restaurant. Food was so good we returned the following night. I had the meat on skewer which had been marinated and grilled to perfection. My daughter had the pork fillet. Six pieces in all which filled the large plate. Could not believe the price. 7.50 euros... More

Although a little off the beaten track it (but within minutes walk of the old town) Avenida is well worth visiting. We had the Paella for 3 but in all honestly the one for 2 would have been more than enough. The staff were lovely and very helpful. A lot of locals were eating there so that is always a... More

Recommended by our apartment owners and no wonder, tucked away in a quiet old town side street it really is a hidden gem, the alioli and bread was the best i've ever had and was matched by a lovely prawns in avocado and then a huge plate of 3 different fish, the Mrs also was well impressed with her fish... This place was recommended to us by the hotel, all I can say is find it try it! A hidden gem as it is not on the main strip of the resort but just jump in a taxi like we did. Great food, Big portions, great atmosphere and not over priced as you will find on the main strip. 😊

Honestly, the bread and aioli was so delicious that I would have been content munching on that all night.. That being said, the food was exceptional and the portions were probably the largest I've even been faced with in a restaurant.
