The family said they wanted a long lunch. So on Sunday we went to Valldemossa to see the monastery where the great composer Chopin spent time with his lover and find a nice restaurant. This did not go according to plan. The Monastery was closed until mañana, (important to check your guidebook, we didn’t) the church at the other end... More

Stopped here for a light lunch and enjoyed a delicious salad. The setting is lovely and the waitress could not do enough to help. If we had been staying locally we would definitely returned for an evening meal.

Was so excited to try this place having read previous reviews, but we arrived at 7pm (early for a Spanish evening meal) on a Saturday and were told they were just closing...perhaps longer hours in the summer but check beforehand. They recommended we try "Casa de Sa Miranda" which was right down the alley - lovely south-facing terrace views and... More

In a great position in the corner of the Monastery Square. Food was fantastic. We shared the starters as tapas and I had Oxtail one evening and beefburger the second time we went. Puddings: Coolant of chocolate not fully warmed but the basmati soup with cardamom, pistachio and almond dessert was phenomenal. Loved it here. Probably our favourite.

Tucked away in the corner of the main square this charming little restaurant is ideal for a lazy lunch watching the world go by. There are plenty of tables outside, and a few inside. We sat looking at the cathedral and the Chopin museum drinking a beer and eating our delicious ham, cheese, and fried egg sandwiches. The waitress was... More

Slightly off the 'main drag' was this lovely little restaurant where we stopped for lunch... quieter than the main thoroughfare it was well worth seeing. Lovely food and great service! Lots of character and charm!

Wonderful food, local cuisine, a real find. Perfectly cooked tuna, best beefburger I have eaten in a long time, coolant de chocolate was best chocolate dessert we've had ever, not just in Mallorca. Can't praise this place enough, go and give the chef the business he deserves! We were the only people eating when other places were heaving (I can... More

Es Roquissar is tucked away in a corner of the Pza. Cartuja in Valldemossa. We had freshly squeezed orange juice there one hot afternoon, and were so charmed by the service and interesting menu that we caught the bus from Deia especially to have dinner there. An inspired move – I can honestly say that I had one of the... More

Valldemossa is not blessed with a great restaurant scene, therefore, although this establishment appeared to be more in line with a bar/cafe, the good reviews suggested giving it a chance. In summary, the service and food was good but the dining experience as a whole lacked the ambience that you may be looking for from dining out in the Med..... More

we loved the location, the nice Indonesian waitress and her husband's excellent cuisine with an Asian twist with all organic vegetables grown in the owner's vegetable patch as long with the exquisite olive oil. We loved it, don't miss it!
