Good Mallorcan cuisine

Saturday lunch and the restaurant was pleasantly busy with mainly locals. Good standard of Mallorcan cuisine with no pandering to tourist palates. Good tasty portions and friendly service. Well worth a visit just outside Alcudia on the way to Ca'n Picafort.

Without prejudice. Well, I lived in Mallorca for ten years (married to a Mallorcan man) and frequented this restaurant back in the day, well known for great Mallorcan cuisine. I had not returned for 22 years and the highlight of my return was going to be to visit this restaurant. It happened to fall unfortunately that we could only go... More

We had a lovely time in this restaurant. Really beautiful and romantic. The food is delicious and the price is great. We were really pleased with the paella and really full afterwards! The place is huge as well; we had a very nice dinner in the massive patio with a fountain.

We had just gotten to our rental and were advised to try the restaurant. Well kids were starving so we walked over, but were a bit too early. They weren't even open yet, but the owner was so nice he seated and served us anyways. Our waitress was also very friendly. We enjoyed our tapas. My wife enjoyed her Paella... More

Due to the language barrier, we failed to understand that we had showed up an entire hour before the restaurant was due to open. In spite of this, the owner was kind enough to seat us anyway; he and his staff also served us as if they were already open for business. This certainly spoke to their kindness and excellent... This is the second New Years Eve we've spent with friends at this restaurant. The service, quality of food, together with excellent wines, made the whole evening memorable. Great atmosphere! Will certainly go back next year!

Excellent food with good service. No need to book (why?). Local food; not the usual 'Chicken and Chips' which the Spanish seem to think is all we Brits eat on holiday. Very relaxed here and very close to the Holiday Garden hotel.
