We just came back from 7 days in Mallorca and we had lunch at Roland twice. We found it thanks to the reviews here and I must say that we found it so good we had to come back. The dishes are very very well prepared and it was a real surprise to find such a good restaurant on the... More

We've recently purchased a holiday home close to Porto Cristo so we were keen to find some good local restaurants. We checked on Trip Advisor and the Roland Restaurant was listed as number one so off we went. We tried to get in on Sunday, 28th October. Off season, and a chilly Sunday evening, it was full. Disappointing but a... More

Bright attractive new restaurant in Porto Cristo. Excellent cuisine, although with quite a German influence, no doubt to accommodate the majority of diners. German chef, very pleasant and helpful staff, although eating on the terrace outside is not brilliant as a bit cramped, no outlook and some traffic noise from the re opened road below. Particularly enjoyable as a quality... More

When planning a trip to Porto Cristo I read up on reports by Trip Advisor reviewers and noted the top rated restaurants there. Roland Restaurant was showing as number one and having dined there twice during our trip my wife and I completely agree. My fillet steak (the speciality of the restaurant) was perfect and my wife said that her... More

The food was amazing, service good and atmosphere really lovely. Unfortunately the location isn't amazing, but it's worth seeking out. It's advisable to book in advance because it gets busy. Whilst the menu was small, we ate there for 2 nights and everything we had was of a high standard. Give it a go!

This is a little gem in Porto Cristo. It gets quite busy, so it might be worth reserving a table if you really want to go. Lovely friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful food. We were really torn between this place and Sa Sal. The only thing that slightly (and only slightly!) lets Roland down is the location. It's on... More

If you're fussy, you might struggle as the menu is small, however the upside of this is that they do everything on it to an extremely high standard and the restaurant is small enough that service is equally good.. The best food we had on holiday by a huge margin. If it was on the waterfront rather than in a... More

The setting is in elevated in a quiet side street, so no views, But the food is exceptional, well presented and very tasty. Service is well meant but a little haphazrd. This will be a good place to go in the winter - the interior is very inviting, definitely the best restaurant in the port - and at reasonable prices... More
