Basic food and expensive

We called in here for lunch on a trip to the Caves. The food was very ordinary and expensive for what it was. Service was "relaxed" so it was good we weren't in a hurry. Would not go back and can't recommend.

We ate at es tanit due to it's pleasant position on the front just up from the beach We had noticed that it tended to be busy by day with day trippers and people venturing off the beach and quieter at night when many people bypassed to go to the busier port My wife and I had the seafood paella... We stopped here after a visit to the Caves of Drach. Good location looking onto the harbour. Basic food but large portions. However, it was expensive for what we got.

Came here with the other half for a lunch stop off on the way to the caves. We sat outside & had a lovely view out to the sea. We ordered our food, I got a daiquiri as I was feeling a bit fancy, it was served in a plastic bottomed glass? I nearly spilled it on me quite a... More

Stopped here with family party of 6 for lunch due to location overlooking the marina. Wish we hadn't bothered. 2 Adults ordered Paella which was a special on the menu board we waited 20mins to half an hour after the rest of the family had finished their meals before the most disgusting Paella ever was served up. Told the waiter... More

We've stopped for an hour in the harbour and decided to have breakfast there. Biggest mistake - we didn't check tripadvisor before and ended at this terrace. Everything is overpriced - 4 omelettes, 4 coffees and 3 orange juices, 55 euros. They brought us two omelettes and the other two after 15 min. On top of that, the waiter put... More

The restaurant was busy being lunchtime and we thought we would join the others. The food was OK but very expensive for what we had. The views across the harbour was nice and the staff very pleasant and good English speaking. I would only return if I could not find a better and more reasonably priced restaurant.

Popped into es Tanit today as it was one of the few places open. Three small tapas (and I mean small), a small piece of bread, 1 beer and 3 soft drinks - €31. There are many places on the island where that would have been around €15. Shockingly, the already high prices were before tax (and no mention that... More

My partner and I visited the caves (which are amazing) . After we decided to have a wine while waiting for the bus back to palma !! We were charged 4.50 for a small glass of house wine which was more like vinegar and 3.50 for a small beer which was flat, we also ordered a small bottle of water... More

Ate here today with my wife. After walking across the harbour none of the restaurants really looked good but we were starving so decided to go in here (how difficult could it really be to cook a quick hamburger?). Sat down and got served relatively quickly. I ordered a double cheeseburger and my wife ordered a Regina pizza. While waiting... More
