Great view and service good

For a light bite, by all means sit downstairs but for a better view, service and style book a table upstairs. We have been going here for years, and while it would be fair to say the menu is more limited this season and some dishes presented differently the service is still good. Nice place... read more

Booked a table upstairs overlooking the marina. Food and service was excellent, too much to eat and quite reasonably priced given the location. The white wine (local) was superb and well recommended by the waiter. Upstairs sitting was stylish and relaxed whilst if you wanted a bit more lively downstairs on the tables by the pavement is the place to... More

I was recommended to come to this restaurant by a friend. Not a vast menu but easily found a starter and main to have, portions were fair and the food was okay I had expected higher standards. So the food was okay but the service wasn't the best, very slow and uninterested waiters.

We visited Wellies restaurant as it had been recommended to us. In a great location on the marina it's décor is pleasant, layout is good also. The menu whilst not vast is ok but no fish dish on offer as a main course. The food we had was good but the service was unbelievably slow and The waiters couldn't care... More

lovely lunch on the upper terrace- great views and delicious food. We mostly had the salads which were beautifully presented, fresh and although expensive by UK standards you are paying a premium for the view and the atmosphere.

After 27 years Wellies have totally revamped their menu and it's a big improvement. There are now 4 different burgers including a chicken one. The new crispy lamb is to die for as is the steak strips. The terrace is a great place to people watch in the summer an the upstairs dining room is still sophisticated.

After a recent visit to Wellies, we liked the atmosphere of the busy bar and chat, and decided to stay to eat. I wish we had moved on, whilst the food was good, the waiters attitude got worse. He forgot to bring part of the starter, so we reminded him about it, then we asked for wine with our main... More

Wellies has been a stalwart restaurant and pub in Puerto Portals since 1986. Diana Princess of Wales used to come for the ploughman's lunch. Today the menu is more exclusive. I have been there many times and love the signature dish Chuleton de Buey. This time it was not up to the usual standard There was a lot of fat... More
