A reason to go to Deïa

Perfect lazy lunch place on top of the beach. Traditional spanish/Med menu well executed. Bring beach gear

I Visited Cala Deia with my husband and family members who live on the Island. What a beautiful place to visit. We had our dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The beach area 'cove' looked so inviting and safe. Would recommend everyone to visit

Stopped here during a walk recently. No complaints regarding the service or the coffee, and what a fabulous location!! We were quite early in the day, but the place soon filled up. Lots of reserved tables, and a very interesting fish menu, so it must be very popular.

You would be hard pressed to get a better location. We were lucky enough to be staying at a nearby villa and so could walk to the restaurant along the coastal steps. We got a table on spec, but it wasn't the best one. Too near the bar and unfortunately too near the septic tank. Despite assurances that the 'work'... More

This place is built out on the rocks overlooking a small bay/inlet. It is quite the hike to get down to this restaurant , but worth every step! Location ! Location and pretty good food. A must see if your in the area.

We have been coming to Deia for years, but had never ventured to the cove before. After reading the reviews, it was with some trepidation that we decided to give it a go. We arrive and the first person we saw was you know who (let's call her the unsmiling one). Well she didn't smile but she was polite, guided... More

This little restaurant, tucked away at the side of the little beach of Deia, never fails. Your can drive down to a small car park with then a short walk to the restaurant. Or you can walk down from Deia village, through olive and lemon trees. The restaurant is perched up on rocks, on the side of the bay. The... More

What a lovely place and setting.Well worth waiting to get parked or walking to this cove and restaurant. Food very good made better by excellent Majorcan wine (try the Nou Nat Chardonnay)...but..... some of the staff(well one actually) need to learn to smile and make customers feel like customers.Actually, the younger staff were very good so work it out....clue...see other review..."the... This is one of my favourite places in the world (see my separate review from the last few years of the beach). The restaurant is ramshackle and windswept from the ocean and carved into the sheer rock face. I have been in a few times over the last few years (now with two sub 3 year old children in tow).... A glorious day. Reservations made (need to) and the most gorgeous setting. VERY simple. But who needs fancy when you're ON the rocks next to the beach. The food was VERY good. I would go so far as to say 8/10. The location 8/10. The price very good too... 8/10. So why the poor overall rating... The WORST service i... More
