Authentic Mallorcan fayre

Driven past this place a few times over the years but never again!!! Simple Mallorcan food, lovingly prepared and cooked and served in a very friendly manner. It doesn't get much better!

If you are a cyclist then this restaurant is a must. It is run by a family of cyclists and is on a great cycle route of mont Galilea. It is a no fuss, friendly but attentive affair. The food is always good, fresh and cooked with care and love. They can handle large groups and offer a garden terrace as... More

We recently took four couples to this restaurant on a Sunday evening on the recommendation of our hotel. We had a splendid evening, making friends with Theo and his sons, learning about his bull-fighting and cycling careers, exchanging English and Spanish jokes and generally having a fun evening. The service was attentive, the portions generous, the quality and taste profile... More

If you want traditional Mallorcan fayre then look no further. This is a fantastic family run restaurant offering all those Mallorcan favourites such as suckling pig, Mallorcan fritter, shoulder of lamb, etc some specialities from owner Theo, who used to be a professional cyclist. I love to go for Sunday lunch here and the family are so welcoming. I can... More

Living just up the road from this restaurant, we're in here far too much but we can't stay away!! The service is second to none and the food is just perfect. For starters we always get Padron Peppers (theyre amazing) and for main we have steak (rare) and it just melts in the mouth. We take all of our guests... More

We visit Ca'n Torrat seven or eight times a year and have been doing so for several years. Theo, the owner, and his family never fail to delight, in every sense. Food here is locally sourced (much of it from Theo's own organic finca nearby), simply and very competently prepared and served with a smile in seriously adequate portions. Highlights... More

We have become regular visitors to Meson C'an Torrat whenever we are on the island. It is real class. Locally sourced food with most of the veg grown by the delightful owner. The family provide a great welcome and are good on advice needed. Enjoy the local dishes in particular, they burst with flavour and are typical of the island.... More

We visited Meson Ca'n Torrat on the last night of our holiday after being recommended it by friends and family. We were told it was a nice place to go but nothing could prepare us for how nice it really was! The garlic prawn starter was gorgeous. The entrecôte steak was the best steak I've ever eaten and cooked to... More

We get a tip from a local at Palma. The Entrecotes and the Steaks. were absolut fabulous. They melt on your tonque before you know it. The ambiance was basic representive. The owner makes us laugh. He had worked in NL and speaks still a bit Dutch. Very funny. The hospitality was good. Nice place to go to.

When recommended by two taxi drivers we had to give it a go(one of whom drove us there). On arrival saying you will enjoy this. Family owned and run the attention to detail was amazing, rustic charm old world very much in the tradition of Spain. My Albondias(meat balls) were to die for in tomato sauce smothered in melted cheese... More
