Very Enjoyable

Very nice meal and a nice restaurant. Only small issue was one waiter who tried to joke anytime he came to the table, sadly his humour left a lot to be desired. Food was excellent. Good portions size. Wine was also very good. We would return.

Great Mallorcan restaurant in the middle of Cala D'Or, open all year, perfect in both summer and winter. Try the shoulder of lamb, one of the best around. If you like to try local food at its best then try here.

Went here on the last night of my holiday from a recommendation and it was very nice. The owner greeted us and made sure everything was looked after throughout our visit. For 2 people, 2 courses including wine and water was 70 Euros. Plenty of seating inside and out.

In the middle of the pedestrian aerea of Cala D'Or mixed together with shops and touristic bars you'll find this typical spanish restaurant. Tables indoor and outdoor, open from 12.30 for lunch and 6.30 for dinner you finally get into what feels local. ATMOSPHERE: being typically old style spanish it's decorated with dark furniture and simple tablecloth and is certainly... More

Had heard rave reviews about this restaurant, so decided to give it a try. Ordered Paella with my son, and although okay, have had better. It was all just okay, just expected more.

We walked in with a group of friends and got immediately a nice table inside since it was still early in the year. Great service, terrific Paella and other food with wine all very reasonable priced. When we almost where ready to go the owner came with some drinks from the house which completed a wonderful enjoyable evening.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and as there was a large group of us two tables were moved to suit us. And we were seated outside were it was a lovely warm evening. We had champagne sangria and normal sangria both of which were to die for. We complimented them with a variety... More

Restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the service was good. I had hake which was unfortunately served with a glutinous sauce. It was a good piece of fish which would have been better served with something simple. My husband had the lamb shoulder which he said was delicious and certainly looked very well cooked. One of the better places in... More

We visited this restaurant without booking. Staff were quick to see to us even thought they were very busy. We had to sit inside which was crowded - book if you want to sit outside. Food was good we had the cheesy spinach and garlic prawns for starter and hake and salmon for main course. Staff were all helpful and... More

Ca'n Trompe has been around for decades and, amazingly, it is as good as ever. I recently visited Cala D'Or with a friend who used to be a food writer, so she knows her stuff, and she loved this place. She had some amazing hake the first time. We went back because we were leaving really early the next morning... More
