So good we went twice!

This is only the second ever restaurant that we visited twice on a holiday. We had it recommended by an ex-pat who lives not far from Cala Bona and I'm pleased I took the advice. Great situation over the old harbour and I definitely advise sitting inside at a window table. Most people sit outside... read more

No drinks order offered upon being seated at our table. Food very expensive for what was produced and not of a good quality. Noone asked if we were ok with our meals. Managers attitude not good and doesnt appear to have a good relationship with his employees - overall not a good dining experience.

We had dinner in a mostly empty restaurant on a Monday night. The location is good, overlooking the harbour. The food (we both ate meat) was ok, but a little lacking in flavour. Service was again OK, but not engaging. I can't complain, but probably wouldn't go back.

We had a variety of sea food - monkfish, John Dory, swordfish, grilled prawns all cooked very nicely with good size portions. The microwaved baked potato and minimal accompanying vegetables let it down a little. Also the quality of the kids menu was the poorest of all the places we ate. It is also more expensive than other similar places.

Es Mollett sits just by the harbour of Cala Bona and allows you to see all of the bustle passing you by without involving you. We enjoyed it well enough to go twice while away even though we could eat for free in our own hotel. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, the costs is at the higher end... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant twice with our 4yo and a baby. The staff is friendly, the location/view is great, the fish & seafood is amazing. We had bread with aioli, olives and a really great serrano ham for starters, along with the fried calamari (yum). On our first visit, we tried the grilled swordfish and grilled dorado,... More

Walked past Es Mollet many times and eventually decided to give it a try. Gutted we left it so long to try it. Really authentic feel inside, the level of service was outstanding. Good quality food. If you're in the area and want an authentic Spanish restaurant then you must go to Es Mollet. There is a gallery in Cala... More

Great restaurant. Steaks were gorgeous and Majorcan potatoes were so tasty. Waiter was friendly and service was excellent. Will definitely go here again. Great views of the harbour too. Slightly more expensive than some places but worth it.
