This is the only establishment in the area but beware, it closes at 5pm -ISH (tho' a doggy bag will do you for your dinner). Friendly owners and staff and great food. Reasonably priced considering the large portions. Brilliant position within a national park. Lots of walkers and an equal amount of those that just come for the food. The... More

This is a fantastic bar on a great walk in the middle of nowhere. Food is excellent, especially the bread. Very welcoming and good service. Highly recommended.

We stopped off her for lunch as part of a walking group. Delicious bread, salad, venison, and a mouth watering chicken dish with coriander and yogurt. Probably the nicest meal I have ever eaten, in the most beautiful location. Well worth the hike to get there. The village is absolutely stunning. Highlight of my holiday. I'm looking forward to going... More

We had some fantastic food and experienced great service at this rustic, hidden restaurant. We would thoroughly recommend making the effort to get there. It's a million miles away from the costas.

You arrive by taking a twisty and at times rough surfaced road, by car is ok though. The village is an attractive small hill side village, and after one final hair pin bend the restaurant is in front of you, on both sides of the road. Started by a husband and wife who are still around it is a rustic... More

After 6 hours on mountain bikes we were all ready for a feast & certainly weren't disappointed. Definitely worth the effort to find this pace

Have been visiting since it opened. A rough walk/ride to get there, but worth it. A beautiful view over the village and the valley. Products are locally sourced and cooked fresh. In addition to the menu there is a specials board. It is always difficult to make a choice but the venison is divine. The staff are helpful and friendly.... More

Been here a few times despite the drive, which I hate - but never stops me! Food incredible. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the effort.
