Really enjoyed our meal

We recently visited this restaurant as we were staying in Frigiliana. A lot of restaurants are closed at this time of year so we were lucky to find a restaurant that was able to accommodate our group of 7. The restaurant was very busy and the waitress was rushed off her feet. However, she was very... read more

With 10 days vacation in the beautiful - but "artificial" Village of Frigiliana - you really want to escape from the many tourist restaurants, and enjoy a more local style, which you may find in the new part of Frigiliana. We found Chinas to fulfill this need. The menu Card had many choices at reasonable prices, and the waitress was... More

This was the best restaurant in Frigiliana Having bee there on holiday for the last 30 years I am quite well versed in the various restraints in the area the meat dishes used to be lovely and the fish great the chips (Which are usually very good in Spain) were also excellent. But last year the management changed the founders... More

We were two couples who went to Frigiliana for a nice meal. We were not disappointed. The food was great and the service homecosy. We did not get a taxi back home to Nerja because it was late sunday night, so the waitress drive us home. Fantastic .

The Restaurant was very clean, once seated the waitress tended to our every requirement. We were shown the fresh meat & fish on display. Once the order had been taken, our food was being prepared and cooked freshly. While we were waiting we shared a complementary starter of pate and mixed salad. Our fresh steak & fish were cooked to... More

Reading the reviews I suspected that this might not be brilliant but we gave it a try for lunch as we headed to our hotel straight from the airport. It's ok. We looked at the fish and meat on display and nothing looked great so we erred on the side of caution and had some salads, jamon, a couple of... More

This place used to be really good the food was always to notch and me and my family had been there often as we have a holiday home in the Village. This year all that changed the old management has moved and the place has gone down hill. you still get allot of food but now it really is quantity... More

Just had a wonderful meal and fantastic service at this restaurant! This was our last night in Frigliana and our first visit to this restaurant , this was our only mistake of the week. Make sure and go at least twice so that you can pre order the paella. We has Dorada which was sublime and lot of little added... More

To our disappointment we found that Sebastian, the owner, has handed over the running of La Chinas to his staff while he persues another venture. This is very sad, Sebastian is a character, he IS Chinas, he is part of the pleasure in visiting the restaurant. He has front of house down to a fine art, so welcoming and so... More
