Onthe main Calle Real lane it would be easy to walk past this small restaurant/tapas bar - BUT DON'T! A charming atmospheric wee eaterie with only 5/6 tables and equally charming hosts. The freshly made tapas selection was as unusual as it was tasty. Well worth a visit!

visited here with friends including one veggie. very creative tapas both with meat/fish and veggie only. reasonably priced. Jan is living his dream making fresh inventive dishes, some traditional with a modern twist others completely of his own making. dates with goats cheese, couscous with beetroot, meat balls with cloves...all winners. well worth a visit. book in advance so you... This small (Dutch) family run restaurant proves you don't have to be Spanish to make great tapas. Mixed tapas plate; tuna streak, meatballs, patatas bravas, couscous, aubergine, dates in bacon and sweet broad beans with serano ham. Its great value and was preceded by bread, aioli and olives. Its only a small place though so book if you want to... More

Tried to get here several times but it is a very popular restaurant and I never wanted to book a table. Had a tapas lunch that was every thing that people said -they have aTrip Advisor Excellence Awards and they are so well deserved. Jan the owner recommended the tapas platter so we didn't really bother with the menu. They... More

Nice meal with friends, with fresh ingredients and good service. Unfortunately our last meal in Spain, I would have loved to come back, but at least we're leaving with a nice meal!

Very good food, excellent tapas, served for 2. The kids had the pancakes, which were very good, and a homemade hamburger, the Best yet in Spain. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. We have eaten here a few times, and we always come back.

Charming little place run by very friendly Dutch. The tapas was very very good, far above average. The prices were perfectly reasonable compared to the quaility. An unassuming place well worth a visit.

Visit this small restaurant every time we go to Frigiliana. Easy to walk past as only a few small tables outside. Fantastic tapas selection and reasonably priced. Now serving locally brewed craft ales. Only downside is that cars regularly pass uncomfortably close to the tables but this doesn't spoil the experience. Friendly staff. Also worth visiting in the evening for... More
