We ate here on a day trip from Nerja. Lovely terrace with beautiful views over the mountains. Rather overheated from walking the steep climbing streets of the village it was a welcome oasis. I ordered the tasting platter of local dishes and was not disappointed. Good home cooked Spanish dishes- just a small portion of each so got to taste... More

Went here for lunch whilst in Frigiliana for the day. We went in principally because of the terrace, but were very impressed with the home cooking and the wine. We had starters of prawn cocktail (simply gorgeous), gazpacho (which was tasty and superb) and patatas pobres for starters then swordfish simply fried with olive oil and herbs, it came with... More

This was recommended by the manager of our apartment complex in Nerja. He is a native of Frigilana, so we went on his recommendation. If is located in the old town, just a few meters past the church. We decided to dine on the open terrace with it's wonderful views, although it was a little bit windy. The food was... More

Good local cuisine- with great views! The dish that we loved was baby goat stew (Choto). And the pisto or ratatouille was fabulous. Family owned and well served by efficient wait staff.

This restaurant is run by local ladies who cook simple local dishes such as tortilla, pisto, poor man's potatoes, chorizo. There is a terrace with beautiful views over the sieras. A great place for lunch after exploring this 'pueblo blanco'. It's just down the street from the church.

On walking through to the back of the restaurant you are met by the magnificent view, this coupled with extremely tasty food and very friendly service made our day trip to Frigiliana complete. We had omelette with the tomato salad and sauté potatoes which was perfectly cooked, served promptly and delicious. The prices reasonable considering the location. I would definitely... More

Recomended by our hosts we ventured into La Bodeguilla to be escorted to the terrace with stunning views and although not very busy we ordered and had a most enjoyable meal with wine. I would imaging this to be a good venue for a family or larger group

I guess sometimes people expect every restaurant they walk into to offer “the best they’ve ever had”. That isn’t what you’re going to get here. Service when busy can be a little muddled, but very well intentioned, the food as I seem to remember is billed as home style cooking and the views on the terrace are great. Its good... More

Pros: * Homemade food to very reasonable prices. * Goat stew, entrecote and lamb chops were magnificent, * Eating al fresco on a small square. Cosy. Cons: * They failed badly with the ajo blanco and gazpacho soups.
