I've previously reviewed this restaurant having visited it earlier in the year. That review was very positive. Sadly, my most recent experience was very different. Dining early, there was no fillet steak left....other meals poor. There was an distinctive air of complacency amongst staff, a common characteristic of the more touristy Mijas restaurants. Fiesta used to be different...alas they may... More

I had chicken and my daughter sampled the mixed kebab at this lovely restaurant in june 2014 and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. Particularly impressed with the surprise complimentary taster at the end of our meal which we thought were individual chocolates,,, nice touch ... individual miniature choc ices. never... More

Four of us sampled the evening BBQ, not at all impressed. Fillet steak over cooked as were the lamb chops. Served with half a dozen cold undercooked chips and a tomato, not value at 19 euros. Waitress had a poor attitude and seemed more interested in chatting to a boy than serving us. Would not go there again.

Ate here with friends. It was bustling (in February). The menu is balanced and the quality of food superb. The homemade pate and excellent quality fillet steak were particularly noteworthy. It's on the edge of the village ( low side) within easy walking distance of the many, much more touristy and mediocre restaurants in around the main square and village... More

The restaurant is some 10 min walk along the main street from the center of the village of Mijas, but it is worth a visit. Friendly staff and tasty food (big portions most of the time). Good value for the money! We had the duck with orange sauce three times during our 10 days in Mijas. The only complain was... More

A very popular and typically Spanish restaurant, welcomingly cosy on the night we visited when it was chilly outside. The waiter was very good, helpful and friendly. The menu had plenty of choice and the price was good. I started with prawns and avocado - delicious - and then followed with the lamb chops recommended as that evenings special. They... More

Located just at the start of the village up from the BP filling station .The pill pill prawns are the best in Mijas Pueblo . Lunch served 1-3pm .Barbecue starts at 7pm each evening .Good atmosphere in evenings .

Had both a lunch and a dinner at this establishment, wife wasn't too impressed with lunch but the evening meal was rather tasty and consisted of a starter of pil pil prawns (very good) and the mixed meat from the BBQ, tasty enough but some of the meat was a tad tough. Very good service from our waiter coupled with... More

Ok - maybe I'm being over generous at five stars for a restaurant that is very close to a busy road & hence blighted by traffic noise, but if you look at my other reviews I do try to give fair comparatives and, overall, I think I can justify the rating. We're not reviewing a fancy a la carte restaurant... More
