A great start...

We are enjoying the promotion, 'Festival de la Tapa, Mijas" that is on from 27 February to 29 March. There are fifteen eateries participating in Mijas Pueblo (around 50 including La Cala de Mijas and Las Lagunas). A tapa and drink is 2 euro, amazing deal. These guys are one of the first restaurants... read more

A full of tourist and restaurants for tourists are at every corner of Mijas village. You never know how people live, eat and communicate. This restaurant was recommended by a hotel staff where I stayed. It seems everyone knows each other. I recommend grille menu and eat outside. The food is not decorated for tourist but people in town. They... More

A very popular bar/restaurant, food was very reasonable with competitive prices. Only problem was the language barrier as the waiting staff didn't have a very good grasp of the English language and my Spanish is very limited. Definitely worth a visit.

You can look no further than this wonderful restaurant for excellent food, a great atmosphere and such warm and welcoming staff. A family run establishment which welcomes you with open arms and makes you one of their own. Now to the food. They are reputed to be the best BBQ restaurant around and going from my own personal experience I... More

Popped into the Fiesta at the recommendation of a friend who has been here several times. The restaurant wasn't busy the evening that we went. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good but not exceptional. Two of us had pork chops which were average, one had sole and said it was very good. All in all, a... More

I've previously reviewed this restaurant having visited it earlier in the year. That review was very positive. Sadly, my most recent experience was very different. Dining early, there was no fillet steak left....other meals poor. There was an distinctive air of complacency amongst staff, a common characteristic of the more touristy Mijas restaurants. Fiesta used to be different...alas they may... More

I had chicken and my daughter sampled the mixed kebab at this lovely restaurant in june 2014 and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. Particularly impressed with the surprise complimentary taster at the end of our meal which we thought were individual chocolates,,, nice touch ... individual miniature choc ices. never... More

Four of us sampled the evening BBQ, not at all impressed. Fillet steak over cooked as were the lamb chops. Served with half a dozen cold undercooked chips and a tomato, not value at 19 euros. Waitress had a poor attitude and seemed more interested in chatting to a boy than serving us. Would not go there again.

Ate here with friends. It was bustling (in February). The menu is balanced and the quality of food superb. The homemade pate and excellent quality fillet steak were particularly noteworthy. It's on the edge of the village ( low side) within easy walking distance of the many, much more touristy and mediocre restaurants in around the main square and village... More

The restaurant is some 10 min walk along the main street from the center of the village of Mijas, but it is worth a visit. Friendly staff and tasty food (big portions most of the time). Good value for the money! We had the duck with orange sauce three times during our 10 days in Mijas. The only complain was... More
