Since this restaurant opened we have visited it, the food is always excellent, ambiance superb and service good. Not much more to say! I think it is the best on all three counts in the whole area. The Beach House could learn a few lessons from them! Staff are all charming, it is all just lovely .... well done to... More

Very good food and excellent service from the waiters. Situated by the beach and lovely views to the mediterranean. Fit to family dinner and a romantic dinner <3 and in the hot summer months is covered by large umbrellas shading you from the sun while you eat. We love this restaurant because we always feel welcome. The menu has from... More

We have visited this restaurant three years running and had always had excellent food, unfortunately this year the food was a little underwhelming. No one complained about the food but all found it just a little bland, this is unfortunate as the views are spectacular and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed a game of pool and drinks in... We've been living in Riviera for over 9 years , we've been to the old Max Beach lots of times. There is so much choice in the area but you can't beat Chez Max for the location and the stunning views of the Med. We've brought family and friends here the food Is good but not " fine dining "... More

We visited Chez Max for an impromptu family meal. The location and view is undoubtedly very impressive - the views over the med are lovely, unfortunately though the food was poor and expensive for what it was. I had the tempting sounding suckling pig and spanish style potatoes which was a particularly poor dish - a huge slab of meat... More

Fabulous view, friendly helpful staff very good service. The suckling pig was incredibly succulent, the wine was fruity and smooth. Both desserts were decadent. After eating in the restaurant time to walk through to Max Pub and have a few games of pool. Both places are well worth a visit. The G&T is worth going in for too!
