Tapas surprises!

We had some new and we thought imaginative tapas at this little place tucked in amongst the touristy shops in Los Canos. We went for fried goats cheese with marmelata; a sort of 'kebab/wrap' with tail of ox, yes really; quails egg with Iberico Chorizo; and langoustines fried in batter with chilli... read more

Very small restaurant so you can miss it if you are not careful but once there it is great! The service is fantastic, the young Spanish guy is very attentive and helpful and he is always smiling. The tapas are of a very good quality and presentation and from a business point of view is excellent because you always want... More

A different tapas experience, with nice and tasty presentation. The helpful staff would recommend wines and they have occasional tasting.

A caña at €1.60 OK but they brought a tapas of a small square of bread with a pepper on it (not requested) and charged €1.40 for this. We asked for only tapas portions of everything and had some very nice and some average food. Included in this was some baby broad beans. As it was on the black board... More

Very good food, as well tapas as raciones. Especially recommend the tronquito de buey, medallon de solomillo and kebab de rabo de toro. Ahhhh, and the paté casero mmmmm. Great music to accompany the meal. Only disadvantage is that it is not bigger and places are limited :-)

We were walking around Mijas and found this bar/restaurant and decided to try it. The bar is small with a couple of high tables outside and about 4-5 tables inside. We initially ordered 4 beers which came with a free tapa --- red pepper on toast with olive oil that was so good we decided to stop and have a... More

Stumbled on this Tapas restaurant while walking around Mijas with my daughter. It looked charming and the Tapas I noted on the tables outside looked beautiful and delicious so I decided to take my wife and family the next day. And wow - we were certainly not disappointed. The food is amazing. Beautifully presented and most delicious. We had two... More

This is one of the best Tapas Bodega's in Mijas Pueblo and possibly Costa del Sol. There is a great atmosphere and the staff are brilliant. the Tapas is not your usual Tapas and servers differently. I highly recommend it.
