Our favourite restaurant.

Visited La Capilla four times this holiday with my daughter. How wonderful to dine in the most magical surroundings possible again. Nine of us had a meal there on the evening of the 27th April 2015. Great food (positively huge portions, both starters & main, which were probably too large) but more importantly, traditional, quality Spanish food and a great atmosphere. Good and consistent service and their wine prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.

This beautiful restaurant is hidden away but it is worthwhile seeking it out as the food, service and surroundings are magical. Delicious regional dishes, the best alioli we have ever tasted, reasonable and smooth house red combined with a beautiful setting inside and out in the lovely garden, all made for a truly special evening. We have been here before... More

I have reviewed this restaurant before but haven't been for a while and one always wonders when taking friends to somewhere you recommend if it will live up to the recommendation! And La Capilla does. never fails and even after a long absence the waiter remembered me! Now that is customer service at it's finest. ! We sat in the... More

I has been on a nice walk in the hills with friends so had worked up a good appetite . We had been here before but never cease to be impressed by the beautiful garden and the chapel museum . The food was brilliant and almost too much even for our hearty appetites . The staff were most welcoming and... More

On a rainy misty day what could be better than a visit to the lovely wood fire of this magical restaurant? This was our second visit and it was exceptional. Previous reviewers have commented on the wonderful decor and ambience but have felt the food was average. This really isn't the case. We opted for a house salad to share... More

This restaurant used to be a Monastery, or Chapel of Rest, and still has a wonderfully tranquil air about it. It is right off the main road (you drive up a rough side road to get to the entrance at the side of it, and park under cover to keep your car out of the heat of the Spanish sun.... More

Thank you to those people who recommended La Capilla (on main road from Los Gallardos to Garrucha just after the Turre turn-off). As a result of those comments we have been for the first time tonight and have just returned from a lovely meal. The venue is excellent and I am sure the outdoor eating experience in Summer will be... More

The old chapel has been beautifully renovated as a restaurant. One salon has been restored as the old chapel and has many interesting artefacts on display. The main restaurant salon has about 12 tables so booking is necessary at weekends from Apr to Oct. However in the summer months tables are also placed strategically around the lovely gardens. The menu... More

The restaurant is in what used to be a monastery I believe, it is worth a visit just to look around the beautiful garden with its shaded sitting areas, the 19th century chapel museum with all its artefacts. The food came in very generous portions, the service was excellent too. It is an oasis of calm and refinement away from... More
