As we say the eyes also eat, in fact the best of the dinner was the view, the tipical francesinha is normal but it as normal restaurant with nothing special, the service was not friendly it seemed like being in a very normal pub but without the music and the environement and the plus is the view, you can go... We arrived here without much expectations and we were surprised by the delicious food and friendly service! As a starter we had the best soup - caldo verde - of our lives! Then we had grilled fish with vegetables - no words!! Gorgeous!! And for dessert: toucinho do céu - a typical dessert from Portugal. What a wonderful surprise! We... More

This is the kind of restaurant I look for when I travel to a different city. Great food and amazing views over Douro river and Porto's ribeira. Had a classic francesinha (must try) and everyone in my table was super happy with food (fresh fish, soups, desserts) and service. It is a busy place with the local Portuguese so it... More

This restaurant is a glass box on the Gaia side of the river, with a stupendous view from all the tables. It is owned by the same people as Caves de Cervaja and Capa Negra, so the food is good and generous, the beer good, and the francisinhas are famously good. You can also sit outside for drinks / snacks.

You're sitting on the docks, watching the sun goes down on Oporto ! What else ? The food ? Regular. Just like the drinks. Nothing special to tell about that. Prices are quiet Nice just like the waiters. Come in for the sight and to spend some time wasting it.

A local friend advices us to order the acorda de bacalhao (€18), which was way more than enough for two persons. A delicious Portuguese dish! The restaurant is situated right next to the Douro river, and at night the view is spectacular.

This is a quiet a good restaurant to have a lunch. What we loved about it is that it has outdoor seating and you may enjoy the great view of the river and its cost. The prices are average, the food is not bad, service is good. Nothing special about this restaurant - just like many others.

I stopped with some friends for a pre-dinner beer and we got a nice out-door table on the banks of the river. The view over the city of Porto is terrific, expecially at sunset. In fact, we liked the atmosphere so much that we decided to stay over for dinner, provided that we could keep the same table. Our only... More

This is a Restaraunt were I eat several times. Located on the Riverside of Gaia, it has a nice view. Here I recommend the Francesinha, in Portugues means “Little Frenchie” , it is a Portuguese sandwich originally from Porto, made with bread, ham, linguiça, fresh sausage, steak and covered with melted cheese and a hot tomato and beer sauce it... The unordered apertizers where the best whe had that dinner. Onely thing was the billed us for it! The meat on the plate was the only thing that tastend on the plate. The spaghetti Bolognese my 12 year old daughter could do better. Although a nice view the bill was 3 times more a café we ate the day before.... More
