Best seafood rice

This is one of the places with best value for money ratio I’ve ever visited. Serving mostly fish and seafood dishes, a pot of seafood rice goes for about 16 € and easily serves 3 or 4 people. I saw many reviews saying that employees are rude but I have visited for many times and never have I been... read more

We've been holidaying in Gaia for a number of years now and on our first visit we took bikes around the headland to Afurada and found Casa do Pescador and what a find. We always make a point of visiting for lunch and for dinner and it never disappoints. The portions are big, so bear that in mind. Fish is... More

Best seafood restaurant around. I always try to come here when I am in Porto or Gaia. The portions are so huge that you can easily share them by two or the stews even by three. The service is very good and fast. The fish is grill freshly directly on the street in front if the restaurant.

A large dining hall cheered up with photos alluding to fishermen and local characters, decorative elements about fishing and table blue tablecloths. Fast and efficient service, with nice mood and friendliness. Moderate sound level. I recomend the cod fritters "pataniscas de bacalhau" freshly made, and the amazing seafood rice. For drink the "sangria". In short, a good relation price quality... More

We ate lunch outside so we got to see them cooking what we had ordered. The octopus and clams were excellent. The staff was also great. Very nice place to visit when you're in Porto.

I always love to return to Casa do Pescador, as the food is cheap and GOOD. You can take a 1/2 portion of seafood rice and it will be enough for 4 people. Seriously! Love it.

We were here with 10 friend's. Somewhere difficult to manage 10 person, but here everything was perfect. Simple the very good, family style restaurant with lot of local guests. Friendly staff, big portion of fresh fishes and seafood’s, with very competitive prices. Higly recomend it!

It's quite a home coocking restaurant, with fresh ocean's fish and big portions. Be careful, as everywhere in Porto's restaurant, to orders on your account bill. Everything went very well and the food was excellent.
