Good sushi after Port

Wonderful view over the river and good quality sushi. A good selection, friendly service. Just a lunch but a good one. Would certainly visit again. Good value too.

Excellent sushi with a great view of the river. A very cool atmosphere and not badly priced. Recommended.

Go up to the terrace to enjoy the breathtaking view of the river and town, but don't eat there . If you choose the menu , you will start with a dried fish , or more precisely , a handful of salt with some morsels of dried fish very near of its sell-by date ( hence the salt ) .... More

Sumo sushi was absoutley fantastic! After a log day if walking and wobbling, we went to 5 port cellars, we made it to our  20:00 reservation. Maja and myself had the place to ourselves which was not surprising given that it was Thursday, they open at 19:00 and it was raining outside. We were greeted with a tasty prawn amuse... More

Located in an amazing location, this is a good sushi restaurant to go. Prices are affordable for sushi, sushi-mix is well served and with different tastes. Service is efficient and pretty fast. Good choice!

If you like fusion then by all means, this is the Sumo to go to. It's got a wide range of dishes to choose from - both traditional and fusion - and also... one of my personal favourites (when done properly): teppan yaki! Save up for this, it's well worth it. The space is very nice and you can definitely... More

I love the location, amazing views. Its a romantic and quiet place. The shushi is the best. I've been in many sushi restaurants in porto city but this restaurant in my opinion is the best.

Although we love Portuguese cuisine, if can become somewhat "typical". If you enjoy Japanese food and a great location, then try Sumo Cais. We have had our fare share of Sushi over the years and can say with confidence this is a good sushi restaurant worth a try. It can be a little pricey due to the location but the... More

Great ambience over looking the river . Try the prawns and butter fish on the Tepanyaki and you will love it.
