Well worth the forty-minute wait. I chose the lump crab sandwich, which was full of lump crab meat. Tender, moist and delicious. Not along the main drag so ask a local for directions. You won't want to miss this experience.

Great oysters, the best in Norfolk. There is a nice atmosphere. The bar is a great place to watch sports and the restaurant is nice without being too dressy or too casual.
Came for lunch on a Saturday and no wait for a table. Fast, friendly service. Great food, fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned fish and veges. Good burgers too if you're with a non-seafood eater.
Our Friday night visit to this quaint neighborhood restaurant was most pleasant. Although there is always a wait, the courteous waitresses offer drinks and continued to check on us. The grouper was tasty and flaky, while my husbands halibut was just what he wanted. Even with a shellfish allergy, they are very cooperative with the preparation of the meals, assuring...

Had dinner here with the hubby. Small restaurant and bar obviously a local spot. The food was nothing special. Had the buffalo wings pretty typical.. tasty. We ordered seafood platters portions are pretty generous but the food was really greasy. The hush puppies were overcooked (burnt) so I traded it for coleslaw which was bland. Service was great our waiter...

Sit at the bar and order the crab cakes. The bartender alone (which i think is the owner) is worth the time there. He will entertain any and all questions and has a lot of good stories.
Had the privilege of eating here just a few times, but always had a very satisfying meal.
The seafood has a fresh sea taste and there are plenty of dishes to choose from. I love their shrimp, oysters, broiled to perfection. Crab cakes and mahi are super delish too. The wait staff is excellent, friendly, professional and fun to be...

Pros - it's a seafood restaurant that serves FRESH seafood. Most of my food was broiled, but even the fried oysters were good. Not overdone, not over seasoned and not drowned in a vat of oil. My wife had fried catfish that I won't dare call perfect...but...it was that good
Cons - no reservations, but I understand. The restaurant is...

I have been eating at this place whenever in town for business. If you were to view their main pics and only see the fried food, you may shy away. I ordered the blackened Mahi this past week and it was incredible. I had potatoes and garlic green beans as my sides with a side salad. Literally cleaned my plate....

Excellent, fresh, well-prepared seafood. Some of the best oysters and scallops I've ever eaten. Very varied menu , all fresh and delicious. Service is perfect. Only downside is waiting in line. You can't do better than this in Norfolk.
