AMAZING BURGER

Went here for dinner and a beer and it was the perfect dinner. The burger was amazing and the sweet potato fries were great. The service wasn't the best but definitely worth checking out.

This place is supposed to be a sports bar but I went during the NBA playoffs and they had the nerve to have the game turned down to zero and some type trivia contest going on basically doing the whole first quarter of the game. I'm like really, what SPORTS bar does that? The food was very subpar I've eaten... More

While searching for sports bars near the Norfolk Naval base, I came across Baxter's. I visited on a Monday evening with baseball games in progress and hockey playoffs going on. It was surprisingly not very busy. There's plenty of TV's in the bar area and around the restaurant, so you can find a local sports program to watch. The food... More

If you go there, be careful going to the window booths--there is a step up that's hard to see and the staff doesn't point it out; a member of our family tripped over it and we saw 3 other people fall there, one very hard right at our booth. When you get there the food is slow and so-so--not really... More

We went to Baxter ' s on a rainy afternoon because we were lookong for a place to watch Capitals Hockey game. It ended being a blast. The service was good staff was friendly. We had bar food and all was good. They have pool tables and we ended playing long after the game. Good suggestion from our friends at... More

Went with three other people. All dressed nicely to go bar hopping on a Saturday night. Stayed at a hotel near the bar and the receptionist recommended Baxters. Walked up to the front and the guy at the front door said we were not allowed in, because someone is our group was wearing boots with jeans and a plaid button... More

I visited Baxter’s as part of an official Anaheim Ducks road trip. Our group of about 30 hockey fans drove down from Washington, DC to watch an Admirals game, and having arrived early, we were taken to Baxter’s before heading back to Scope Arena to meet the Admirals booster club before the game. Some of us stopped at the entrance... More

I went to Baxters with my brother. I had the crabcake sandwich and the cajan crab dip which was just ok, the items were bland and really did not have that much taste to it. The first bartender we had did not even crack a smile but the second bartender we had was very attentive and friendly! The atmosphere was... More

Baxters was right by my hotel so I walked there to watch Monday Night football and get something to eat. Sat at the bar and the bartender introduced herself and asked my name. She called me by my name the rest of the night which was a nice touch. Ordered the chili nachos which were pretty good. The meatball sandwich... More

The waitress we had was unfriendly. She was acting like we where bothering her. The one bouncer at the door was acting cocky like he could whoop my behind. Food was ok but we didn't feel the love.
