Little known gem on the water

This is one of the only places in Norfolk where you can die with a view of the river. This may not be fair but its reality. The food is artfully prepared and the menu is guaranteed to impress. It is pricey but worth it. Also they only have a dinner service Thursday through the weekend as of this... read more

My girlfriend and I decided to try this place for lunch because it was within walking distance from the Marriott in the rain. It's located on the bottom floor of a corporate office building. We decided to try the award winning burger which it totally was award winning. So juicy with the most amazing flavor. We were pleasantly surprised. Also... More

It may have won people's choice but it was not great in our rating scale. This is a restaurant downtown with business colleagues having a meeting one table next to us so we thought getting in and out would be fine. After sitting down, we received our drinks right away and our server told us the specials. Then our server... More

We were here for a Christmas party and it was wonderful. The food for a large party was very very good. I had a salmon over risotto and asparagus dinner, creme brulee, and wine. All were excellent with large portions. The view of the boats and water was exceptional. We have excellent service that was unobtrusive but attentive (Cassandra). I... More

This is the type of restaurant that is great for expanding your palate and dining experience. We enjoyed many of their small plates as there are so many amazing choices. It's a fun way to enjoy a meal and just keep sampling different items. My favorites was the "nun" cheese that is on the cheese menu. Be adventurous and try... More

This is a fabulous place to eat. The prices are a little higher but for the delicious food, attentive wait staff and waterfront view it is well worth gong!

Vintage Kitchen has become a favorite restaurant for nights out for my husband and I. The atmosphere is elegant and romantic but not stuffy, and where else can you get a river view while dining in Norfolk? It's a little oddly located inside an office/hotel building, but once you're inside it doesn't matter. Food has never disappointed (we've been 4... More

It was a cloudy, rainy day but I took My Lady, my 88 year-old aunt, and a female friend to lunch at Vintage Kitchen. We were the first patrons of the day and we sat at a table to view the Elizabeth River. The ladies each ordered the crab cake that came with a small salad and sweet potato fries.... More

We were in Norfolk for a meeting and three couples walked to Vintage Kitchen. The view of the Elizabeth River is spectacular and the food was an equal. The service was so enjoyable we came back the next day for lunch. Their Mac. & cheese is awesome. I really enjoyed their small plate tomato soup and grilled cheese.

I had a ceasar salad here for a business lunch before meeting some partners at at the Regus meeting rooms on the top floor of Dominion building. This place had the best ceasar salad I've ever had! It came with a little crispy piece of bread with some sort of olive spread on it. My business assosciate got grilled chicken... More
