My wife's son took us out to Wasabi with a whole crew of his Navy Blackhawk "family"... It was fun to be there with a large group of people. The chefs prepared our meals and entertained as we watched.. quite a show. Friendly staff and a nice quiet atmosphere. Really enjoyed it.

I walked into this cavernous restaurant at 8pm on a Wednesday and found it empty - not a good sign. All I wanted was a few pieces of sushi and some fresh vegetables. There was a vegetable dinner - veggies cooked in ginger sauce - but it came with a salad - lettuce in a ginger dressing - and was... More

My wife and I met our daughter for dinner before heading out of town the following morning. We all like sushi so stuck to the sushi menu exclusively. The rolls were very good. Good portions and rolled tight, the way we like them. Service was excellent, watched close but not in your face, a good balance. Will return when in... More

They food was ok, same as you would get at any other Habatchi style steak house. Drinks were good. Sushi was ok, nothing special, lacking some kind of sauce or something. Not sure If i'll be back

Me and my husband moved to Norfolk, Va about 2 months ago ( he's in the military), this place was near us and with these reviews decided to try it out. The restaurant is gorgeous and updated (not common with Japanese restaurants), their service was excellent both times we've gone with very welcoming hosts and waiters/waitress. As for the sushi... We had a lot of fun and left feeling very full. The chef was funny and quite entertaining. I was disappointed with the scallops and shrimp, not very flavorful. My sushi, spider roll, was delicious. You will leave here with a pretty hefty bill depending on what you order. It does make for a fun family experience!

The food here is average. I have eaten better food for less at other Japanese steakhouses. In my opinion the food is not traditional enough. I like sesame and that seems to be lacking here, also as others have mentioned the miso soup is only a chicken broth with some scallions, no other vegetables. Chopsticks must be requested as they... Yes, I'm not in S.F anymore. I ordered filet mignon and scallops combo. $19.95. The so called Miso was chicken broth with green onions...???? The scallops were overcooked, though I know that scallops can easily over cook but this is a professional establishment. The steak was cooked rare but not seared. I suppose that the grill was not hot enough.... More

This place has the best Red Dragon Roll I've ever tasted. The hibachi food is fresh and deilcious, and the service is decent too. We've been to this restaurant on several occasions and it has never let us down on the the taste and quality of the food once. The service can be kind of hit and miss, but usually... More
