We generally visit the same Restaurants when we are in the area, but as a result of Restaurant week found this place. We have visited twice and have found it to be good both times. Decent priced wine menu with a good variety. They have a 3 course menu at a set price which includes a starter, entrée and dessert... More

Well located in the historic Freemason district, with ample parking, Voila is convenient, worth a modest detour from anywhere in Norfolk. Friendly wait-staff without being intrusive complements the somewhat ideosynchratic menu, with the chef's creative take on classic French dishes. We've been here several times and always ate well; the last time with the benefit of a half-price wine special.... More

My wife and I visited Voila for a fun night out. I would say the food and service were good, but I felt the experience was slightly overpriced. I wouldn't say we were disappointed, but when compared to other options in Norfolk, Voila is average.

We were hungry and went late to eat, and things were hopeful after the wine was good and the bread was delicious. The ambiance was nice... But. The goat's cheese hors-d'oeurve was fair, but the presentation was not good and it detracted from the experience. The French onion soup was not good, very over-salted, and low quality. The salmon in... More

Love this restaurant, which happens to be within walking distance from my home and serves up some wonderful dishes. Their scallops and crab cakes are among the best I've ever had. In addition, they have special deals on Mon. for 1/2 off selected bottles of wine, and Tues. offers 3-course meals for $20. It's also got lovely ambiance, as well... More

My daughter and her husband took my wife and I here for Fathers day. We have eaten here many time before and always enjoyed our meals. This night we again had incredible meals and plan on returning again soon.

Because Voila is so popular on weekends, we have been twice during the week..great solution. This is Paris, France in Norfolk, Va. Seriously..not grand French like Le Grand Vefour, but authentic cuisine w/o breaking the bank and getting on an airplane. Our first night was steak night..local grass fed, special vender..The second visit was a delicious beet salad w/roquefort/pecans..husband opted... More

My wife and I love french food done right. We have been to France and Paris many times. This as close to those cozy boutique restaurants in Paris as you will find. Everyone is always eager to help and the food is as good as it needs to be. The only other restaurant in the US that gets as close... More

Agree with the review that called this a "hidden gem". Small neighborhood location. Make reservations. Food, drinks, service all outstanding. Staff knew menu, drinks and wine list inside and out. Nothing was run-of-the-mill here. We are from out of the area and would make this our go to spot any time we are in Norfolk. Don't miss it!

Champagne, escargot, small, dim lights, excellent food...what could be better for date night! They have a $30 Fixe Prix menu daily in addition too the regular menu. We got the Norwegian salmon and Flatiron steak. Both of us totally cleaned our plates- unusual for me. Hints: skip the oil & vinegar with bread, it is nothing special and heavy, the... More
