Friends night out.

We stopped in here for just a drink but ended up having dinner and dessert. I highly recommend this place. Clean, great wait staff, food was very good and the beer Jolly Traveler was delicious. Have plans of going back very soon.

Great place to have lunch or dinner. i tried the chicken Tawook, which comes in a wrap, and was good, but smaller size than a gyro sandwich. I also tried the lamb burger, and the big fat Greek burger, and both were excellent with a lot of flavor. i thing the burger patty base was a gyro. The Greek salad... More

Stopped in to Azar's for lunch upon the recommendation of a friend. We walked up to the counter to look at the menu and place our orders. The choice was difficult, but we went with the Taste of Azar's sampler (we chose dolmades, hummus, and baba ghanoush), a gyro, and a fattoush salad. I usually prefer hummus over baba ghanoush,... Mediterranean food is not typically on my menu, but I wanted to try new things while on vacation. I was hesitant, but I shouldn't have been. The atmosphere of the little restaurant was amazing and calming. The food had perfect spices and the most hospitable cashier, who suggested our meals and hooked up with some coupons! Must try at least... More

There is nothing wrong with the restaurant or the staff...in fact it was quite clean, with helpful folks. However, do note, that if you are looking for authentic Mediterranean food, this is not your restaurant. I ordered a schwarma and got what looked like a Taco Bell grilled stuffed burrito. Not bad, but it sure wasn't a schwarma.

Stopped by Azars Cafe for lunch with a friend to catch up on old times. Picked this location due to a promotion offered thru the city trash recycling program. Very well worth the effort to print off the coupon. The cafe was very clean and inviting. I ordered the Gyros sandwich and my friend ordered the hamburger with a spinach... More

Great Turkish food! They serve mostvof their food with hummus and naan which I like both of them a lot. There is a mini mkt inside the restaurant which has great jams and fresh olives.

Our family recently had lunch at Azar's. The restaurant serves pretty standard Middle Eastern fare - not outstanding, but quite OK for lunch. However, we probably won't be back. First: There's nothing on the restaurant's website informing potential customers that until 5 p.m. it's self-service all round. Had we known this we would have opted for another restaurant, as we... I grew up eating Azar's food. I started my love at the VA Beach location and the Ghent location is just as good. I am happy that they maintained great service. The falafel is delicious!. Also, they have the best dolmades and I have eaten a lot of different ones. Definitely consider this place!
