Simply put, ownership/management is obviously more interested in putting people in seats and taking their money than they are in conducting honest business. Highly recommend other restaurants in the area for the same type of food at better prices, and much better service/honesty in advertising! I have been to Omar's twice now and have enjoyed the whole experience each time very much . i love the eclectic, artsy and warm decor, and the food is better than 90% of the restuarants i'v tried in the city. The specials are the best deals and will make me a regular client, so please don't do away with... more

Disappointing. The crab & artichoke soup was lukewarm, which was warmer than the greeting. Dining room smelled of mildew. Skip it. more

We went to Omar's Carriage House for the first time last night and we will definitely be back. Everything was excellent and I can't think of one thing that wasn't just right. The manager/owner(?) stopped by everyone's table twice to make sure we were satisfied; very brief stops, not at all intrusive and I really felt he was sincere in... more
