I ordered the Tiger roll and King Cobra roll, both to go. Both delicious. Would come again and stay for the meal. The setup is very nice, service was great.

Great rolls and noodle soups. I'm not vegan but some of their vegan rolls are very tasty. It's run by a nice family so service is always good. Good place for lunch or dinner. I also enjoy their seaweed salad and their shrimp tempura appetizer is delicious. They have been there for years so they must be doing something right!

Kotobuki Japanese Restaurant is by far one of the best Japanese restaurants that I’ve tried here in the 757 area… I would as far say that it’s one of top 5 in the mid-level range that we’ve gone to while traveling on the East Coast. The spouse, who is a vegetarian, loves the creative flare Kotobuki puts into their food.

The food was very tasty with plenty of vegetarian options. The only minor issue was slow service. Would definitely go again.

This place has made it to the list of truly great sushi places in Hampton Roads. Delicious, fresh, authentic fine sushi by real culinary artists. Nice place, great service, decent pricing.

We have become regulars at this place - sushi is fresh, boxes are great and they will cater to any request you make whether it is on the menu or not. The staff are wonderful and straight from Japan so they know what they are doing. Love this place.

The food was ok. Nothing wrong or bad. Atmosphere was good, what you would expect in a Japanese restaurant. Service was good. The food was good but the sushi pieces were a little small, almost like they were trying to cut corners to save money. I ate at a GREAT sushi place last week in San Mateo, CA (probably the... More

Good appetizers, great sushi and good deserts. The size of the appetizers was too small for the price, though.

Vegan and vegetarian sushi isn't easy to find, and Kotobuki does a great job with it. Their non sushi vegan choices (eg., sukiyaki) are not as successful. The place looks a little tired and run down, but the vegan in my life loves the place
