One of my favorite places for a large group. This is a place for sharing dishes. There are too many good dishes to describe! Go with a group and start ordering! Also try some of the amazing cocktails. Be sure to save room for dessert. The chocolate donuts with dipping sauce are sinful

There are some kooooool things to eat. There are usually three sorbets which are made from whatever fruit he had that day. Same with the humus duo, made from chickpeas and whatever vegetables he had on hand. Try to go to the restroom before the check comes because it will sneak up on you and you might just mess your... My husband and I enjoyed lunch here while the kiddo was in school. We live their other restaurant, Still, so we weren't sure if it would be as good. Well- it was really, really good but maybe not quite as good as Still. We actually had some really great tapas and some nice wine. Our server was attentive and engaging.... More

We have visited Bardo many times over the years and generally always had very good food but the service on our recent visit was a new low. The pretty waitress brought two incorrect dishes, forgot a third, and then misplaced our credit card (which was later found). The restaurant was not very busy. There is convenient parking behind the restaurant.... More

Wanted to try something new and found this tapas restaurant near downtown Norfolk. We were very happy that we did, the food, drinks, and service were fantastic. We ordered duck tacos, duck lumpia, warm spiced thai crab dip, beef short rib lettuce wraps, and the bacon wrapped beef skewers! Everything tasted delicious...for dessert we tried the flourless chocolate brownie which... More

We went for a business happy hour, but they don't actually have a "happy hour." The cocktail and wine list is extensive. The cocktails were inventive, beautiful and delicious. We ordered a few appetizers to share, but they were quite small. We had the crab dip, which was spicy and flavorful. The calamari were perfectly cooked and delicious! The fondue... More

I loved this place. The food is essentially Asian inspired tapas, but everything has its own "twist" and creativity. If you like good food and unusual dishes which you cannot get at home - no matter where you are from - this is a really good place. It is inexpensive, has a great selection of beer and wine. The servers... More

The menu is a trip. You work your way thru "levels" or courses, and the food is inventive and fun. Be sure to consult with your companions to enjoy the ultimate sharing experience. Leave room for dessert, too. I so enjoyed this experience!

Walked in about 7:30pm Tuesday w/o a res and was immediately seated. Ordered hot sake and was told they only had cold sake. Shades of "Five Easy Pieces". Appetizers were well presented. Fish was fresh. Service was very good. Dessert excellent.

This place tries so hard to be hip! Would you like some Yin bread and yang oil? Or perhaps soup of the moment? It would be better if they invested some of that effort into the quality of their food. The one good dish we had was the eggplant fries. We also had the crab-stuffed tempura avocado. YUCK! The crab... More
