And so..., we went to church for dinner.

Unique, yummy and well served along with. Price was not at all unreasonable and the atmosphere was most enjoyable. Glad we got the experience.

Excellent dinners, high quality, served super hot with steam coming off the plates! Great service. We had back back ribs and the sirloin tips on pasta in smoked Gouda cheese sauce. Loved it! The chocolate mouse pie is Amazing. Very resonable prices too. A home run!

When I first dined here ten years ago, the attraction was the ambience, i.e., eating in what looks like the inside of a church. When I brought my wife here for dinner, it was also to show her the setting. What I failed to notice on my first visit was the exceptional menu and the service. I had the Cilantro... More

My wife and I had a delightful time at Freemason Abbey. There were no tables available so we sat at the bar and ordered drinks and were seated a few minutes later. The building is very atmospheric, especially if you sit upstairs. We shared a bowl of excellent She-Crab Soup. For entrees we had Cilantro Lime Shrimp and Grilled Stuffed... More

I had a great lunch here, service fast and friendly. It is a beautiful old church remodeled for bar/restaurant service. Worth a stop in if your in the area, quality food at a reasonable price.

What a beautiful building - lovely antique furniture, stained glass, plenty of eye candy for a Victorian building fan like myself! A friend and I went during restaurant week and we both had the she crab soup bowl and a half Reuben sandwich. Both were excellent! There was also bread with butter that was very good. Our server was very... More

We knew about this place but had never ventured in. We were surprised at how nice it was inside, considering it is in an old church and we were expecting a dark and dated interior. It was very open and lively without being noisy. There is a cute bar in the corner as you walk in where you can sit... More

The she crab soup will not disappoint you. Get the bowl, but my chicken salad plate was not fresh. My friend liked the crab cakes and the bread pudding a lot. My chocolate fudge pie tasted like it was in the refrigerator with lots if other flavors. The building is so very historic and unique. The hostess and our waiter... More

The building, inside and out, is a sight to be seen. It's old and beautiful, without being too aged. It's just so neat to eat in an old church re-purposed for something else. There was a wide selection of food and beverage options, and daily specials were described in detailed. In general, our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable-- she even... More
