We kind of stumbled across this place on our search for lunch. It is right down the road from Nauticus. The food was great and reasonably priced. Our waitress was very friendly and light hearted. She did a wonderful job. They have a great variety of food, something for everybody. Definitely worth going, if not only for the food but... More

I walked in with my family and was instantly amazed by the beauty of this building, inside and outside. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was DELICIOUS! Nice change of pace from all of the chain restaurants in Norfolk. Would definitely go back again and eat anything on the menu!

We were supposed to be part of a large group--got there and somehow wires got crossed so 4 of us sat by ourselves, nowhere near the 16 or so people we had reserved a table with. Parking is very limited, so people were sitting in the parking lot waiting for others to leave. Ended up on a side street quite... More

Service is excellent (Blake was outstanding), food is great, the building is old and in perfect condition. I had the feeling I was having lunch in a real free masons temple. We enjoyed very much.

A restaurant in an old church building. The food and service were excellent. We ate there twice and both times were completely satisfied.

My husband took me back to a restaurant we used to frequent when we first met years ago. Even though it was July the restaurant was air conditioned enough for us to share a bowl of she crab soup and the fried tomato appetizer. My husband had the barbecue brisket sandwich. The waitress gave us two etched glasses for our... More

Today (july 18) I had made a reservation the night before for norfolk's resturant week. I was looking forward to taking my family to dinner as a nice treat. The food was ok wasn't anything to write home about but the real issue of the night was our server, he was rude and made my family and me feel like... More

Haven't been here in years. Glad we came back. Excellent she crab soup and crab cakes. Hot yeast rolls and bread pudding with real cream. Attentive staff and good value.
