I don't live in the area anymore, but whenever I'm in town I go there for the fried fish sandwich. I think it's Cod, but it's HUGE and is outstanding. Price was very good. This place may not be for everyone, but it definitely has the local flavor of Norfolk and the friendly people. Always a good band to hear... More

I love the owners, entertainment, food, and environment. I loved the crab cake ordered for me by a friend. The she crab soup is great! The people here are very friendly and seem to enjoy themselves as well as the music. I like the Greek Salad the best in this place. I highly recommend it.

Had catch of the day (flounder) for dinner, well prepared with a healthy vegetable sauce. Service was OK, friendly staff, nice live music. Not a fancy nor sophisticated place but worth the money.

Ordered blackened tuna. Got grilled tuna. This is usually okay, but this tuna was well beyond the point where it should've gone in the trash. Took it home for the dog, but it smelled up my car, and not with a fishy smell. Something skanky. But the dog enjoyed it. I guess it beat kibble. Service was good, except for... More

This place is on the Elizabeth River edge and has a good menu with great service. The food quality and prices were good; The fish here was great. I had 6 raw oysters that were indicative of the quality and freshness of the rest of the food we ate. We had 4 of us all ordered differently and all thought... More

I have been enjoying oysters and shrimp at this place since I was in the Navy 23 years ago. It is first and foremost a bar and hangout for locals and ODU students/staff. I only go there in the summer/fall when I can sit outside. If you can get an outside table, away from the smoke, be prepared for an... More

Read a recent review in the daily newspaper and decided to visit for a Friday Night Fish fry. We started the meal with a dozen raw oysters. I was a little disappointed to see about 3 different types of oysters on the plate, some of which were very small and others not so fresh. The wife and I selected the... More

Nice local place near Old Dominion. The outside tables overlooked the water on a small inlet. The fried shrimp were very good. Service was good and prices were reasonable.

Definitely a local hang out. Good food, good service. Very accommodating with our large group. We did call ahead. I love the view and deck. Everyone was happy with their food. Shrimp, crab legs, and oysters were all good.

I visited this restaurant with a friend as a girls' night out dinner. we requested an outside table but there was a 10 minute wait, so we waited at the bar. our table was ready by the time our drinks arrived. we passed through an enclosed porch area that smelled of cigarette smoke, not appetizing. the outside deck was a...
