We stop in here every Black Friday for lunch as a (very much extended) family. The food is simply delicious, especially for "mall food". Even though I am not a vegetarian, I would recommend the Balsamic Roasted Veggie Panini- messy but well worth it!

I had read a few reviews about this cafe located on the third floor of Nordstrom's in the MacArthur mall. I rarely go to a mall and was very hesitant about eating in one but the reviews were outstanding so thought I would give it a try. Four of us went for an early dinner. It is cafeteria style so... Consistency is apparently one of their strong suits here, and when it comes to dining out, that is a great and rare thing. The salade nicoise with salmon was most delectable. Half sizes of most of the salads are also available. Complementary roll service, strict attention to drink refills and direct professionalism appear to be the hallmarks of the service... More

I've been dining at the Nordstrom Cafe for close to a decade. Without a doubt it is the best cafeteria restaurant by far--comparing Nordstrom Cafe to K&W Cafeteria would be like comparing Whole Foods to Food Lion. I almost always start with a cup of Roma Tomato Basil Soup ($3.75). On my most recent dine, I enjoyed the Margherita Pizza... More

This is a great little restaurant to pop into after an afternoon of shopping. My mom and I eat lunch or dinner here on our annual day-after-Christmas shopping trips. Girlfriends and I will often choose this spot for a ladies evening out, as it's so conveniently located in Nordstrom. It's got a nice interior, although I wouldn't go here if... More

great to find a great restaurant within a department store / shopping mall - that's right, a great restaurant, not some fast-food stuff but real, high quality food when and where you need it.

In my opinion, this is the highlight of the MacArthur Center Shopping Mall. The name says it – Nordstrom. The service and quality delivered here is superior to all others. I am not a fan of any shopping mall but I do appreciate good food. The Nordstrom Café on the third floor is a combination of a cafeteria line and... More

My wife loves the salads here and they are very well done. Not something you see very often in our area. The lady that makes the salads is very slow and meticulous and it shows in the finished product. Me, I almost always get a chicken panini. Very good. Soup of the day is usually good. Gets a bit crowded... More

I recently visited Norfolk's Nordstrom Cafe (3rd Floor Nordstrom, 4th Level South Garage Entrance). I was not disappointed and will return. From the hot soup selection, to the fresh/made-to-order salad station, to the clay-fired pizza oven, this place exudes freshness and style in spades! And don't forget the delicious carrot cake, cheesecake, cupcakes and cookies for dessert! Even the soda... More

I always look at tripadvisor and ask people that live in the area where would they go. The resounding recommendation was go to the Nordstoms cafe and have the salmon. That is exactly what I did. I had the salmon nisoise salad which was fantastic. I also had the carrot cake. It was more of a spice cake that was... More
