Although we got there 15 minutes prior to their closing time, the waitress who served us was very nice and didn't rush us. We ordered soup and the entree. Both were delicious and we could def have split the dish. No complaints about this place.

I traveled here last year and had the best thai food! The dishes are reasonably priced and the food is authentic! I had the Pad Thai and Gra Pow, both were excellent! The service was friendly and fast. The wait staff were very helpful in assisting me on what I should order! The decor is contemporary and modern. There are... More

We started out for dinner, with Italian in mind. When that restaurant was closed, Rama Thai was next door. Remembering we had pasta in mind the last thing we wanted was Thai, but what a great find! Service was excellent and the food was really delicious. We had papaya salad, and satay sticks to start. Followed by ginger beef and... More

We were looking for some good Thai food while we were in the area. We ordered the papaya salad, vegetable rolls, pad thai, tom yum, shrimp fried rice, and panang curry. The better tasting dishes were the pad thai and the panang curry. The papaya salad, tom yum, and fried rice were just okay. The fresh vegetable rolls were sad.... More

A group of about 10 of us went for lunch. Servers were friendly, food came out fast, and was pretty good. In and out in <1 hour for lunch.

This restaurant was recommended by a local business owner on the same street. The decor inside was cute. The lighting low, I guess that was to keep you from spotting the rundown, dark grey, used and abused, sticky carpet covering the floor that needed to be replaced 10 years ago. The service was attentive and friendly. The food came out... More

I have been in couple Thai Resturant in Portland and been to Thailand this is the real thing. The pad thai noodles was great. Also we had the crusted talapia garnished with mango cubs mmmmmmm. Also the panang tufu and vegetables was delishous. Finally the service was great. Bravo Zulu folks.

We go to two places in Hampton Roads for thai: Rama Garden for the drunken noodles and Royal Thai for panang or red curry. I absolutely love the food at Rama Garden and the service is always attentive and friendly. I have gone for lunch and dinner, but I would recommend not going in for lunch if you are on... More

If you like Thai food, this is a great place. I was solo so I only tried one dish. My dinner was very flavorful - and also quite large. Definitely get some appetizers and split a meal. Wonderful Thai food with great service.

I was in Norfolk a year ago and had a memorable meal here at Rama Garden Thai. When I went back to Norfolk this year, I headed back to see if the food was still as good. In fact, it was better. This simple restaurant on Granby St (literally down the street from Chrysler Hall and The Norfolk Scope) is... More
