Got there at 11;00 and already a crowd, and I can see why, the food and drinks were great. I had the poinsetta drink first and then the pumkin stuffed french toast with a cranberry compost on top, it came with roasted hash brown potatoes. We both enjoyed our meal and the waitress was wonderful.

We went on a Tuesday and everything seemed to be a "special". The bottle of wine was $15.00, a glass of wine was half price the only expensive drink was the single malt Scotch at $12.00! The small plates were buy one and get one for half price and then there was the burger special! Everything was well prepared and... More

This is a little bistro I found with a Google search for Restaurants Near Me when I was in unfamiliar territory, downtown Norfolk Virginia after a doctor's appointment. Press 626 was within walking distance from "My Location." Press 626 is a small place that looks like it could have been someone's home in a prior life but today is a... More

My wife and I ate lunch at Press recently for our first visit. It is a quaint and funky place with unusual menu choices and a large wine inventory. We had a good time, the service was friendly and my tomato soup and cubana sandwich was terriffic.

Arrived on a Friday around 6 pm and the friendly server told us about their happy hour specials -- half price glasses of wine and discounted small plates, buy one get a second half price. This turned out to be the perfect dinner option for us as we enjoyed perfectly prepared scallops and salsa, delicious rich gnocchi and a separate... More

We went on Christmas Eve for lunch and they opened at 12 pm instead of 11 am. I got there at 11:15, and it was pouring. They let me come in and wait for my friend, and gave us some water while we waited for noon to hit. We ordered some coffee, which they served in a french press pot.... More

This was the second time I have tried 626, and I will never go back. First of all our table was the worst ..it was right by the door, had three other tables too close around us, right by the hostess station and right by the bar. It was so loud that we could barely hear each other. We ordered... More

Fab wines, build your own salad menu which is AWESOME for lunch! Amazing grilled cheese and soups too. Very cool old house converted into a restaurant. The owners are wonderful and I have been to several charity events there. The wine list is VERY fine tuned and I have yet to have a wine I did not like. Just a... More

We went here for lunch on Sunday. This is a very unique restaurant in the Ghent area of Norolk. The food is always good here. Today I got the grilled cheese sandwich. It is made with three types of cheese and has a delicious flavor.I also got a cup of the soup for the day.It was a spinach and mushroom taste.It... More

Last time we came to Norfolk, Press was closed due to a wedding. So it was on our list of places to go. Its not a large place. But it is comfortable, staff are wonderfully helpful. Good piece of advice, grab your meal on the balcony, not a lot of room, but if you happened to luck it, like we... More
