We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and it didn't disappoint. Not the restaurant for you if you are not a fish or seafood lover. Very friendly but there was only the one person who could speak a little English. We had prawns, cataplana with monkfish and golden bream, excellent. It is very busy so you have to book,... More

The food is excellent if you like fish, there is a good atmosphere and it is always busy therefore it is best to book in advance. It is more expensive and you can get dressed up and not feel out of place.

The food and wine were excellent. We had monkfish with rice and it was delicious. We kindly recommend this restaurant to fish and sea food lovers.

This restaurant was recommended by family members who said that here we would find the best seafood and fish in this part of the Algarve. They were right. We booked a table and let me just mention that, at least in the summer, they will only book until 8pm. After that it's pot luck but judging from the queue waiting... More

Great place, always packed with locals and with the best seafood around. Try the "Aroz de Marisco", if you love Seafood! You will absolutely adore this dish in such a place. I have eaten this dish so many times in so many places in Portugal, but this is the best one so far! They are also ever so polite and... More

Was told by friends of this restaurant. The place itself is not only unpretentious but also like every other run of the mill, portuguese rest. But we were there for the meal itself, and that did not disappoint. The fried prawns were fresh, deliciously seasoned with garlic and perfectly cooked. That was the starter. For main meal we had the... More

One of our favourite fish restaurants - family service and always very friendly. Pretty much any fish you want and cooked perfectly. The fish stew is great. an added bonus this year is they now take bookings so you don;t have to be there for 7pm to ensure you get a seat (its a favourite with the locals).

In the center of Quarteira, with fresh fish and with sea food typical dishes. With good quality and a good service, is a place that I recommend. The value is balanced and fair. Reservation needed. Always full

This restaurant is obviously aimed at, shall we say, the wealthier visitor to the area. Surprised other reviewers saw no tourists, clientele was all tourists when we were in, some portuguese, but people on holiday none the less. I imagine they would come from Vale do Lobo and Villamoura rather than Quarteira. This was by far the most expensive meal... More
