Expensive and Left Hungry

Totally agree with previous comments. Nice place, we ate outside on their terrace, and the service was fine. The food was actually really nice, but very small portions and very poor value. We left €115 lighter for a shared starter, 2 mains and 2 glasses of wine - and then went down the road for a... read more

I've been there last week end. It was a sunday night so there was people around but the place wasn't crowded. The place looks good, but the service is clumsy. Not that is the real problem, though. They are pushing a more 'creative' menù, especially with the starters, but I've to say I've felt disappointed and wasn't amazed at all.... More

Great shame for the terrible service in particular by the chef /Omar/ himself. Other than that the main dishes were superb, the starters instead litle disappointing. In any case when the chef is so unpolite and treats you with arrogance, it does spoil the whole dinner. Also not smart from them, as there are many other nice places even in... More

Place looks good, although a bit pretentious. Food quality good, but tiny portions, slow and surly service and very expensive in comparison to other restaurants at the top end of Lido's offering. We won't return.

There is no doubt that the food here is of a quality well in advance of most Italian restaurants. Everything we had was a precisely-cooked taste experience with the freshest of seafood and truly wonderful desserts. However, not only was it expensive, it was served up in small portions, easily consumed in a minute or so. We could have eaten... More
