A must when around Florence

This restaurant has one of the best views you can get from a restaurant in the area. The food is great. Go for the truffel tagliatelle and a fiorentina! :)

What a fabulous meal....every time I’m back in Italy, I have to go back there...after having been there for the 3rd time, we finally realize the importance of not over-ordering...portions are huge so order one main and a couple of sides and a starter. As to our meal....pasta in tartuffo sauce, two sides, and fabulous potatoes baked in rosemary. Fabulous... More

I often quote la Cantinetta di Rignana as my favorite restaurant in the world. I've eaten here 5 times now and it therefore breaks my heart to see how touristy it has become and how much the food has suffered as a result. This restaurant was packed with Italian families back in 2009 and the food wasn't just good. It... More

Though a bit difficult to get to, down a long dirt road and into a series of buildings that look like farm buildings (they probably are), we meandered down to a large enclosed patio overlooking vineyards and olive trees and hills. The food was simple and local and delicious. There were large parties of families eating in the room, which... More

I have eaten here several times over the years and the location is amazing. Getting here is a beautiful hilly drive from Greve in Chianti but it is worth it! The food is great and best time is to arrive before sunset and watch the sun go down while overlooking the vineyards. The food is great, bistecca alla Fiorentina, chiangialle....everything... More

Taste and quality of food exceeded expectations. The restaurant was very busy but the service was still good.

First went years ago when it was rather more rustic than it is today. The road has not improved much though. If you have not been before you wonder how anyone ever found the place but well worth the effort. The food is superb, the service excellent and the restaurant itself is delightful. You need to be on the terrace... More

This place is located on a dirt track road, but is definitely worth the drive. The staff is very friendly and willing to give advice. In 2 we spent around 90 (1 bottle of wine, water, starter for 2, 2 tagliate one with balsamic vinegar and the other with fresh tartufo, and a dessert). Definitely a place I am going... More

We accidently found this place while driving around looking for a place for dinner. We noticed many cars parked around this restaurant in a remote area of Tuscany so we decided to check it out. We sat outside which was lovely. Our party of three each ordered the steak and it tasted like no steak we have ever had. We... More

Being our first trip to Tuscany, we were keen to dine in a quaint, local restaurant with great food and panoramic views. Well, we couldn't have chosen better!! The restaurant was in the middle of nowhere, set amongst vineyards in rolling tuscan hills. The food was delicious with loads of local fare to choose from. A memorable afternoon... However, do...
