Roadside Dining in Chianti

Little roadside (and I do mean ROADSIDE) shop and restaurant in Dudda. Ate there twice during our visit to Chianti and enjoyed each meal. They also have a meat & chees counter as well as an espresso bar that a few of the locals frequent. Very enjoyable food and atmosphere.

This is a fantastic little restaurant located in the small Tuscan town of Dudda. It's spread over 2 levels with the upper section more like a cafe, with coffee and cake, while the downstairs is more of a formal dinning area. It's not a restaurant that's been created to appease to a tourist market and as such the food is... More

This wonderful little gem sits roadside in Dudda. Warm and welcoming staff serve up delicious meals on an outdoor terrace with amazing views of the countryside. Meals are reasonably priced and portions are plentiful.

9 of us, all family, are here and had a great meal. Bruschetta was amazing! All pasta dishes were great. Meatballs as well. Views and atmosphere take the cake though!!

We came here for dinner but it was full, so we came back in the morning. The restaurant is closed but they have 2 small tables in the store. Simple and authentic. We got bosque and fritata with some artichoke. Turned out to be the best breakfast in Tuscany so far :)

What a sweet little restaurant this is! The food was local and delicious (Mama's meatballs and the roast chicken were fabulous). The restaurant itself is homey and rustic and obviously a hit with cyclists judging by the art work on the walls. The service was excellent and not rushed and the vinsanto and almond cookies were a perfect ending to... More

Nice place, warm and rustic atmosphere in a typical tuscany country house. I was there in summer, so we had dinner outside, in the garden. The food is really good, we tried two kinds of pasta, the big fried and the roast, two kinds of home-made dessert: everything fine. Wine wasn't so good, but I'm from florence, I'm a strict... More

This restaurant serves typical local food: good pastas and meat dishes (not so many fish). The food is simple but of very good quality and for a low price. We have been on holiday several times in this region over the past years and always eat at Botteghina at least once. Good service. The bruschetta pomodoro (starter) is highly recommended.... More

We already been twice and will come again, very friendly owner, nice garden for the kids to play while waiting for the food. The food is very nice, great value for money and the locals come here for lunch, you know what that means. Recommend to anyone for easy lunch or a nice dinner , with or without kids.
