Traditional and tasty

What a sweet little restaurant this is! The food was local and delicious (Mama's meatballs and the roast chicken were fabulous). The restaurant itself is homey and rustic and obviously a hit with cyclists judging by the art work on the walls. The service was excellent and not rushed and the... read more

We came here for dinner but it was full, so we came back in the morning. The restaurant is closed but they have 2 small tables in the store. Simple and authentic. We got bosque and fritata with some artichoke. Turned out to be the best breakfast in Tuscany so far :)

Nice place, warm and rustic atmosphere in a typical tuscany country house. I was there in summer, so we had dinner outside, in the garden. The food is really good, we tried two kinds of pasta, the big fried and the roast, two kinds of home-made dessert: everything fine. Wine wasn't so good, but I'm from florence, I'm a strict... More

We had a wonderful lunch while visiting the area with friends. The food was lovely as was the surroundings. Staff very helpful especially our young waiter who's English was very good. We would definitely visit again.

This restaurant serves typical local food: good pastas and meat dishes (not so many fish). The food is simple but of very good quality and for a low price. We have been on holiday several times in this region over the past years and always eat at Botteghina at least once. Good service. The bruschetta pomodoro (starter) is highly recommended.... More

We already been twice and will come again, very friendly owner, nice garden for the kids to play while waiting for the food. The food is very nice, great value for money and the locals come here for lunch, you know what that means. Recommend to anyone for easy lunch or a nice dinner , with or without kids.

The worst italian I came a cross in my two weeks in italy. What a shame that the dishes don't have the ingredients which are quoted in the menu cart. Never again!
