Despite it being Tuesday evening deep in off-season, we were welcomed at Il Portico and served a delicious meal that included Tuscan specialty black cabbage in several entrees. We've eaten here before and enjoyed the easy-going and warm experience. Great food and very friendly young woman who took care of us well. We would return.

Very traditional and very good! We loved the food, the authenticity and the atmosphere, which is quite different from much of the rest of Greve (very touristy). We will be back.

We arrived early and were served by the owner and chef herself. A very cosy restaurant with great atmosphere, the food and drink considering the location is very good value. We had the ravioli special and wild boar ragu with a house wine and it was amazing.

Absolutely the best what I have ever eaten: "Filetto di manzo in salsa di vino rosso, tartufo nero e pate" - if you are in there try this dish it's absolutely delicious

We took four starters, all were VERY tasty. Good and reasonably priced chardonnay and a well prepared dessert made it a perfect find.

We walked in be use the place next door that our concierge recommended was closed. It is a local place that smells great and has food to match. Fish is not that popular in Tuscany so when I saw Bronzino on the menu I ordered it. It was fresh and with the Italian roasted potatoes the meal was perfect .... More

Tried this out last day in Chianti. It was right next door to our hotel so very handy! Food was very tasty. Had the gnocchi in Gorgonzola cheese. Just lovely. Salad was very fresh too. People were very pleasant considering it was extremely busy as the wine festival was on.

The restaurant is modest like most here, well located in the central square, but this dish is just an absolute culinary paradise !!!! A very nice service. If you want to eat here during the summer season reserve the table before. http://www.ristoranteilportico-chianti.com/#_=_

Quite nice as well. A less variety in menu but the plates are pretty good. Good wine from the house, red and white. For a meal is a pretty nice place.
