Gem in Chianti

A beautiful villa- stayed in the Lemon Room which was quiet and serene. Staff offers suggestions of places to visit-don't miss nearby Panzano village and the mad butcher! The food preparation is very good. The menu is very limited especially if you need to dine there more than twice.

We had a wonderful dinner at Villa Bordoni in early May. The restaurant is located high on the hillside and although it is not the easiest to locate, it was certainly worth the effort. The restaurant and decor were just perfect for a relaxing evening with friends, and the food was some of the best we have eaten in Tuscany.... More

It is a disgrace that Trip Advisor does not rank this number one by a mile. Food, service and decor rival the finest restaurants in NYC or Paris. Price is better and the service far more friendly. Not cheap but nothing of this quality is. That said, it is a more than marvelous experience for the time or money! And... More

Our guide arranged this cooking class for us as a part of our Chianti stay. We were not disappointed and would recommend whole-heartedly to others. Colin was such an excellent instructor in the kitchen and we enjoyed the comradary of others in our group. We prepared a focaccia, fresh pasta, chicken cacchitorie, and tiaramisu. As others have noted, we then... More

I recently had dinner at V Bordoni and it was just wonderful. Great food, service and ambience. If you are in or near Greve, don't miss it. Try to stay there.

We drove a long way to enjoy a leisurely lunch at the Villa Bordoni restaurant and we were not disappointed. We had a superb lunch with delicious wines, gorgeous Tuscan views, wonderful hosts and the best food of our trip to Italy. Definitely worth a detour!

I don't want to give too much away, so trust me, just book this. You will start your cooking class with the head chef of the restaurant who has work for years in Michelin star restaurants. He is a lovely guy and you will learn a lot but also don't worry, he helps / can help you a lot so... More

This is a classy restaurant, with a tremendous panoramic location. Staff is top notch! English mother tongue. The food is at Michelin star level, though the prices are not that crazy. We had a very nice lunch and we were given smart suggestions about the surrounding area.
