Maybe the service, and food would be better if we had stayed there, but we went for dinner. The portions were extremely small, and my husbands pea soup tasted like Gerber's. Service was poor, and it was obvious the manager was more concerned about the table next to ours as he was extremely attentive to their over priced wine. We... More

It was an experience. The restaurant/inn is located beyond world's end. Getting there is an endurance test. Once there you are seated in a garden with absolute silence all around. Service excellent. The food - frankly we were enjoying the ambiente not paying attention to the food. Worth getting out of the way.

Great food, but so many mosquitos in the restaurant! I hate writing less than stellar reviews, but there were so many mosquitos in the resturant - one ended up in my wine glass. The food and service were great. It was a bit pricier than it should have been and the views were different than they looked on the website.... More

A beautiful villa- stayed in the Lemon Room which was quiet and serene. Staff offers suggestions of places to visit-don't miss nearby Panzano village and the mad butcher! Also if you have a car visit Old Grieve nearby. Magical. The restaurant at the villa is very good-Florentine steak for two is amazing even for this 'rarely eats meat" flexitarian. And... More

The food preparation is very good. The menu is very limited especially if you need to dine there more than twice.

We had a wonderful dinner at Villa Bordoni in early May. The restaurant is located high on the hillside and although it is not the easiest to locate, it was certainly worth the effort. The restaurant and decor were just perfect for a relaxing evening with friends, and the food was some of the best we have eaten in Tuscany.... More

It is a disgrace that Trip Advisor does not rank this number one by a mile. Food, service and decor rival the finest restaurants in NYC or Paris. Price is better and the service far more friendly. Not cheap but nothing of this quality is. That said, it is a more than marvelous experience for the time or money! And... More

Our guide arranged this cooking class for us as a part of our Chianti stay. We were not disappointed and would recommend whole-heartedly to others. Colin was such an excellent instructor in the kitchen and we enjoyed the comradary of others in our group. We prepared a focaccia, fresh pasta, chicken cacchitorie, and tiaramisu. As others have noted, we then... More
