Six of us stopped for lunch whilst driving through Chianti, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the view of the main square, from the upstairs terrace was fantastic. Between us we had various pastas, all of which were very good and great value. If you are in Greve we would definitely recommend it, we will definitely go back.

Excellent place!! It's now called La Terrazza and is located right in the central town square of Greve. You won't be disappointed!

I had lunch here a couple of days ago and couldn't wait to come on here to write a review. Let me just say, if you are in Greve or surroundings, you MUST come to Nerbone's second-floor verandah for a lunch or dinner. The food is excellent (please, please get the antipasti platter) and the service is super. The wine... More

The restaurant was renovated in January/February which halved the area of the downstairs area. There is still seating downstairs, but most of it is now upstairs, whichmis where you really want to be. It has a great view over Piazza Matteotti. During the day you can people watch if seated on the verandah and at night you the Piazza is... More

We were on a private tour of local wineries. For lunch, our guide brought us to this restaurant. We had a generous serving of cold cuts and cheeses, some good local wine. I also ordered some delicious grilled porcini mushrooms. The brought a basket of mushrooms to the table! We were seated on the upstairs terrace with a view of... More

Spent our last night in Chianti on the terrace at Nerbone and couldn't have chosen better. Had some delicious Tuscan liver crostini followed by squid salad. The staff are friendly and chilled. Highly recommend.

Due to time limitations in Florence, we were unable to check out Nerbone in the Mercato Centrale. We consoled ourselves because of Nerbone di Greve. It's a little confusing to find because the sign over the door says "La Terrazza oli Osteria but we were assured that we were indeed at Nerbone! We had checked the reviews on Trip Advisor... More

After reading the other reviews about the long waits for the food to arrive, I had to also comment on my meal last summer. We ate twice at the restaurant as the setting on the piazza is lovely. We always order a normal Italian meal with appetizer, primo, and secondo. In other words we dont go out to save money.... More

In September 2013, we stayed for one week in the Chianti area, where we have been going every year for more than forty years ! We decided for once to try the Narbone, well seated on the flanks ot the most beautiful greve triangular Place ! In the evening, the temperature having slightly dropped, we were able to find a...
