This it the perfect italian osteria in the quaint and simply gorgeous Greve square. The food was outstanding, the ambiance was warm and inviting. We had a cozy and incredibly delicious experience here and will absolutely be back!

We had lunch over here. Very nice staff. The mushroom risotto was very nice and worthwhile ordering. They have a nice terrace in the main square.

a sunny lunch outside in october - great! we were 4 people from 3 countries and we all had good food and attentive helpful service. nice to see organic and local food on the menu. we were afraid eating in Greve was going to be a tourist trap but were pleasently surprised by lack of crowds.

We ate here twice while staying near Greve. The food was traditional tuscan and delicious, but what made it really stand out was the great service.

Greve in Chianti piazza had several outside cafes and we enjoyed two of them. Mangiando had excellent food and was a fantastic choice to dine. Food was delicious, service excellent. Highly recommend

My partner and I visited this restaurant following positive reviews on trip advisor. It was a cold evening so opted to sit inside the atmosphere was good with it being being busy with a mix of locals and tourists. The service was a bit slow as there was only one waitress on when clearly two serving staff were needed. The... More

We happened to be in Greve with reservations at Mangiando Mangiando during the wine festival. Many folks were turned away because they did not have reservations. We had a lovely lunch outside. Excellent Tuscan faire - Peposo with Pear and good service. Highly recommend.

We spent a week in Greve at a wonderful winery, Podere Campriano. We walked to the town center each evening for dinner. The restaurant we enjoyed the most was Osteria Mangiando. We had a wonderful soup starter, perfect pasta, and well prepared main courses. The restaurant was completely full by 8.00pm, so reservations would be recommended.

One of those quintessential Tuscan lunches - on the terrace on the main square of a quaint old town, bruschetta, pasta, meat, and a good bottle of chianti. Mangiando mangiando delivers this classic pleasure without fault, adding friendly and competent service to quality traditional food and a wine list which takes pride in the produce of the surrounding Chianti hills.... We visited Greve for the annual wine festival, which takes place the second weekend in September. After having tasted the best wines in the region, one of the vendors recommended this place for lunch. The food was excellent and even if you go at a different time, you'll enjoy great food in a beautiful setting in the piazza in the... More
