We had dinner last night at this restaurant and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was great, service was excellent. I had a Tuscan steak that was out of this world. They cook their meat rare so be sure to tell them if you need more. The pear ravioli was perfect. Highly recommend and would suggest reservations.

Came here for a meal with my husband based on reviews and it didn't disappoint. The starters were great - I had ribbolita and he had tortellini. Followed this with beef - I had slow cooked in chianti, he had a small steak. Both were really nice but different. Washed down with a bottle of house chianti, which was excellent.... More

Upon reading the reviews, we were looking forward to an outstanding meal at Gallo Nero on our first night in Greve in Chianti (the start of a month and a half in this beautiful town) and were very disappointed. Though the food was good, the service was confused, and at times, non-existent. Admittedly, we were dining at 8pm and during... More

We ate here for lunch and dinner on our first day. There was a market on and it was was really busy in the square making it hard to get a feel for the eateries there. (Try Terraza in the square which we went to another night and was nice). The inside is very nice, we got a booth even... More

We went here last night due to other reviews. The staff are really friendly, decor is lovely and warm, and most important the food was really yummy. I had a half portion of the handmade ravioli with ricotta on beet, pesto and sage (if I remember correctly) - very tasty for a starter; followed by a BBQ small rooster (half)... More

Came here to dine last night as per recommendation of TA and have not been disappointed. The management was extremely nice, engaging in conversation of wines and helped us stock up on yet another bottle of Chianti RIserve. The beef tartar was so fresh and simply done, i wish we could get this in Dubai. Overall, a superb atmosphere, the... More

Came here dinner because of TA recommendations. It was quite disappointing. It was not a busy night when we went. Most tables were empty. The foods were ok. Service was barely competent although friendly and polite. Wouldn't recommend it.
