Great views

Great views and on a sunny day in April there was no better place in Tuscany to have lunch......not to hot , not to cool...... The prices are a little extra and they have a 3 Euro per person cover charge which is a little cheeky but for the ambience it didn't matter. The drive there is also... read more

When god invented restaurants he created il ristoro di lamole. I was lucky enough to be taken there as a surprise for my birthday by my darling boyfriend who drove like a mad man up the hill to get us there in time for sunset. Once we got there we had the best table in the house overlooking the stunning... More

Can understand the high rating - great location, great views and great food. Service was very attentive. Everyone enjoyed the food with the exception of the sausages which were quite salty. I recommend the rabbit and the guinea fowl. Please go there if in Chianti.

The receptionist at our hotel recommended the restaurant to us for lunch and what a recommendation! We arrived on a rather drizzly damp Monday afternoon and were warmly greeted and seated in the restaurant alongside a table of about 10 locals enjoying a working lunch. Our waiter and waitress looked after us well and helped us make menu selections which... More

Lamole is always a great place to take friends and colleagues. You are always sure you get a friendly service and quality food. The wine list is really good and the menu goes with the seasons. I love to go there during the mushrooms and truffle season in autumn. On your way up from Greve in Chianti you will admire... More

This was my second visit here, the last was about 12 months ago, and it's great to see that nothing has changed. The views over the Tuscan countryside are spectacular. The service is welcoming, relaxed and friendly. The food is superb. It's well worth the drive from greve (this time I drove, not walked) and I can recommend the local... More

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area, if not the best. The food is amazing (especially the Bistecca alla Fiorentina was the best we had) and the service is excellent. Boris will make you feel at home, and when the food arrives you will be enchanted! The wine list is extensive and includes many amazing local... More

one of the most authentic and finest tuscany restaurants I have eaten at. Go for lunch. You MUST make reservations, they are always full. Great pasta and general dishes - not to mention the wonderul red wines. Prices very reasonable. Warning: Make sure you get directions. You will think you are lost before you stumble into this gem!

If you want an incredible dining experience in Tuscany, THIS IS IT! Stunning view, beautiful drive up, great food and great service. Don't come here for a quick meal - come for a memorable evening. Have fun making your way up the long narrow winding roads, enjoy the view with a glass of wine and over an incredible meal, and... More

I've been here several times over the years and keep returning. Gorgeous, out-of-the-way setting, beautiful views, and some of the best dinners I've had in Tuscany.
