As another reviewer stated, Lamole was suggested by Maria at Palazzo Malaspina. She feels very confident in suggesting a stop here; when you leave, you will know why! Our server Boris was knowledgeable and gracious. He never forced his "chef choice", and made sure we were totally happy with our selections. With 8 diners to please, he was a professional... More

We discovered this little gem on our way into the main piazza in Greve and had coffee and pastry. Service was wonderful, staff very warm and welcoming. Food was delicious and price was reasonable. Highly recommend.

Ristoro di Lamole was suggested to us by our hosts at the B&B Palazzo Malaspina in San Donato. We had a table on the terrace out front overlooking the beautiful countryside of Chianti. Our very friendly waiter started us off with a delicious local Chianti Classico Riserva from one of the vineyards in Lamole. For appetizer we had Carpacio with... More

We had a private tour of Tuscany whilst our cruise ship was docked at Livorno. Our driver had reserved us a table for lunch at this restaurant. The setting is perfect with views out over the Tuscany landscape. We ate in the covered patio at the front of the restaurant and had one of the best tables with front line... More

Our lunch here consisted of an endless series of small plates, crusty bread with ham or liver pate, bruschetta with tomatos, risotta of black rice with mushrooms, tortellini filled with pecorino cheese and topped with pears, salads, salamis, artichokes, pecorino cheese topped with truffle flavored honey and a lovely combination of small desserts plus great Chianti Classico with the town... Il Ristoro di Lamole is a firm favorite. It serves refined true Tuscan dishes, inspired by the hills surrounding it, with absolutely fabulous views. The waiting staff are a delight and the wine list is full of the best the Chianti has to offer. An absolute must- it will make your holiday! We did go with a toddler, and the... More

We have been going to Ristoro di Lamole for lunch at least twice during our stay in Tuscany for years. However, this year we observed a nearby table being served homemade potato "chips" with their Tuscan steak. We asked Filippo about them. On the menu it reads potatoes, but "chips" is one of the ways that the chef can prepare... More
